When using the Email ClickApp, sent emails and their threads in the task activity section take up significant vertical space. Please add an option (ideally the default) to show sent emails collapsed, with just the subject/recipient visible, expandable on click. This would keep activity readable on tasks with heavy email traffic (e.g. recruitment, client-facing workflows).

The new task view has horrendus spacing between each section and it's really hard to tell at a glance what belongs to what section.

Having a one click button on task view near the top would be helpful as I frequently need to send CU task links to my team.

At the moment, task types are Workspace-wide. However, different teams have different needs as far as task types, which is why Space-level or private options would be optimal. For example, an HR team wouldn't rely on the same task types as an IT team. Each department may have sensitive information in their workflows (represented by a task type) that they don't want other teams to have visibility on.

This is urgent for my workflow. Since today, ClickUp sorts the German letters A and Ä together in alphabetical order. Previously, A and Ä were sorted separately. I use: A-xxxx = Tasks F-xxxx = Questions Ä-xxxx = Changes Because A and Ä are now grouped together, my numbering and sorting are disrupted. If this cannot be restored, I will have to manually check and adjust the numbering of all A- and Ä-items, which is very time-consuming. The workaround also does not solve the problem: searching for “A-” does not return the expected results. It still does not allow me to reliably separate my A-xxxx items from the Ä-xxxx items and sentences with A-/a-. Was the sorting behavior recently changed, and can you please restore the previous behavior where A and Ä are sorted separately? This is important because it directly affects my daily workflow.

In the task view, if I choose to show completed subtasks, please remember this preference. So, when I open the next task, I would like it to show the subtasks as well. The same functionality applies to checklists; there, the preference is saved.

Problem: Often within a single list, we have different types of tasks: some represent projects, designs, and smaller action items. Each one should go through their own set of statuses, but this is currently not possible. We are forced to either use dropdown custom fields as a workaround or create large status sets to try and encompass everything, leading to confusion among people. Ask: Give the ability for statuses to be set by type. This will allow each task type to have its own status workflow.

It would be great if in the Task View we could have the ability to customize (globally) the columns that we see next to each task. By default it is Assignees, Priority, and Due Date, with an option to manually add in columns, but that doesn't translate globally. I think a separate global setting for this would be a great addition as a lot of us are looking at start date and due date, not just due date.

The "saving/saved" bar at the top right corner of the Task Description covers a few words of the first line in the Task Description (see screenshot). I appreciate its inclusion and its utility; its placement is just a little inconvenient.
