Feature Requests

I would like to suggest several improvements to the text functionality inside Shapes. Ability to remove links from text Currently, when you paste or add text with a hyperlink inside a Shape, there is no way to remove the link while keeping the text. There should be an option to remove the hyperlink styling from the text. Basic text formatting inside Shapes Please add the ability to apply basic text styles within Shapes, such as bold and italic, to individual words or lines. This would make it much easier to structure and emphasize information. Text highlighting It would also be very helpful to add the ability to highlight specific words or lines with color inside Shapes. This is important for clearer visual organization and better readability of different points within a Shape.

Please provide the option to Color the cards in Board view by 'Custom field', just like there is option to Color cards by 'Custom field' in 'Calendar View'

A few things would make the board/kanban view much more usable for those of us with more complex projects. As someone who really wants a tool to be able to implement a real Kanban (with a capital K) forward approach and not just have it as an afterthought. Often, there is just the wrong information on the screen at one time, without needless extra information / scrolling necessary for the use case. For example. The rows feature when you use Swimlanes should have the same feature that list view has, where if you collapse a grouping, that should be able to be saved to the view. One basic use case I'm trying to solve is a swimlane for programs, projects, and one for tasks, but if I sort by task type, I have a massive list of automatically open Task types swimlanes with 0 tasks. Those task types aren't in that list/folder. But I've gotta scroll through 15 different task types to get to that simple idea. Notion can hide specific rows from the view, which would be even better than collapsing often times. I'd also love to be able to have 3 different heights that you can use for rows (short, medium, large) that take up different vertical space from the screen, similar to how you can have different-sized cards. Depending on the screen I'm using and the workflow, It would be very helpful to see more or less items in a row, if you have multiple projects with lots of tasks inside that in this set up. I'd love to be able to have swimlanes with different clients, and a full height for their tasks, since there can be 10 to 100s of tasks in the same row. Let me use more of my screen real estate to evaluate the aggregate status of more of those tasks. There is also the ability to collapse empty columns by default, and their should be the same function for rows. You can currently collapse columns, but that state should be able to be saved to the view. Pretty straightforward. Currently, there is the ability to select all tasks in a column, but I'd love to be able to get that function at the row level, to select all tasks in a column of a particular row. When I'm trying to process a subset of those tasks, like if I've got a row for each client, and I want to process everything in their backlog. That is semi-fixed by the ability to select cards with shift, but I'm still scrolling really far because of the limited row height. The shift-click function should also be expanded to add another key-combo allow selecting an item to add to a multiselection, but not have to include the tasks between the first click and the section click. Basically, the difference between Command+Click and Shift+Click in the file system of Mac. That would actually be useful beyond the Kanban view. We should be able to see the sort priority in the sort button of Kanban views, which is something I mentioned in a separate post because the sort UX varies across all different views, which is currently a silly level of unmanaged. lol I'd also love to be able to group by list for columns or rows at the folder or space level. Even better would be to allow grouping by relationships, which you can now do both of on the List view, hugely increasing the options of potential workflows.

Description: Currently, I use the Planner tool daily to map out my work blocks. However, I find it time-consuming that I cannot duplicate or copy existing blocks (Events). Every time I have a recurring or similar task block, I have to create it from scratch. Requested Feature: Add a "Duplicate" option when right-clicking an Event in Planner. Allow Alt+Drag (or similar shortcut) to quickly copy a block to another time slot or day.

Being able to collapse certain columns in the board view. This will allow focusing just on the desired tasks and get out of the way the irrelevant ones such as pending tasks, done tasks, maybe even yearly or monthly tasks that arent relevant to the daily work. It can get pretty annoying to collapse columns everytime you leave the board

Please allow to show the latest comment on Board View. Even better allow to be able to select or deselect that option for each individual task! Like, maybe a default option for all tasks but the ability to change it for specific cards when you want the information about the last comment displayed. Thank you!

We use Board view (grouped by status) to keep track of feedback cycles and audits. Within each task, we use the start date (for check ins) and end date (for audits) to trigger automations, change stauses and track the actions required. We would really like to be able to choose how we sort each individual status column in Board view, instead of only having one sorting option which is applied to the whole view. For instance, based on this screenshot, we would like to be able to sort the columns as follows: "UPCOMING CHECK IN" & "CHECK IN DUE" by START date "UPCOMING AUDIT" & "AUDIT DUE" by DUE date Hope this is something that can be popped on the roadmap soon!

It would be great if the different columns of a board view could be sorted separately. Imagine a traditional board (kanban) with the following columns: "To Do", "Doing", "Testing", where the "To Do" could be sorted alphabetically, the "Doing" could be sorted by due date, and the "Testing" could be sorted manually. This would be an amazing resource for anyone using kanban boards in a project management context.

When the View type "Me" is selected together with "All spaces" our spaces are from different sectors in our company and this gets annoying to collapse or hide through filter. As you can see in the image. Would be nice to view only the columns (Status) that are NOT empty.

Currently, using a combination of status/task type on the board view is completely redundant since the board shows every single task type in the workspace. Really need the ability to either select what task types are visible on the board (preferred) or at least have the ability to hide empty task type values. This is going to be more important with the ability to associated custom fields to task types as it increases the importance and usage of task types
