Customize Columns for Subtasks in Task View
Matt Langlois
It would be great if in the Task View we could have the ability to customize (globally) the columns that we see next to each task.
By default it is Assignees, Priority, and Due Date, with an option to manually add in columns, but that doesn't translate globally.
I think a separate global setting for this would be a great addition as a lot of us are looking at start date and due date, not just due date.

Yes! We would love this feature.

Agreed!

This feature would be a game changer. I change the columns and when I go back the columns have defaulted back and/or changed the order. I don't need priority or assignee. I need time tracked, comments, linked tasks and dependencies.
Please Click-Up, add this feature!

I couldn't agree more. The most important things for our company are Assignee, Due Date, and Time Estimate and is really frustrating to have to change the options for every single task set

Also relevant for the Task Links / Related section of the Task View. Our team doesn't want to see the Priority of a linked task, ever. We want to see what list it is on. Always.

Any news on being able to reorder subtask columns?
Having Due Date come before Start date, for example, makes no sense.
Also, being able to set a default layout across a location.

Yes, it would be useful to have the ability to have a sub-task Status being set to display, as well as choosing to have the Status field ordered so it is in plain view, without the need to scroll the display.

It's insane that this isn't a feature

We use start and end dates for every task and subtask. and right now we have to add the start date column to all tasks and subtasks one at a time. Changing which columns appear and the order they appear in would save us massive amounts of mindless clicking.
I would like to be able to do this by list to have further customization within the space.

Oh my gosh, yes, this is exactly what I need. I am constantly having to manually add the "Time Estimate" field over and over again to the when looking at the subtasks within the Task View of a parent task.
