Customize Columns for Subtasks in Task View
Matt Langlois
It would be great if in the Task View we could have the ability to customize (globally) the columns that we see next to each task.
By default it is Assignees, Priority, and Due Date, with an option to manually add in columns, but that doesn't translate globally.
I think a separate global setting for this would be a great addition as a lot of us are looking at start date and due date, not just due date.

Is there an update on this? So much wasted space with the unnecessary columns that don't stay hidden when you remove them. And it's incredibly frustrating to have to hover your mouse over the subtask name when working in a different window. If I could wrap text, I could just follow through all the steps without needing to move my mouse all the time.

Extremely annoying when planning a spring using subtasks -- losing a lot of time when doing this repeatedly for 10s of tasks

This is a feature that is needed for our company to continue using ClickUp. This current setup is so inefficient at present.

Yes please I would love to see Sprint Points by default.

Why is this so hard to fix? It's common sense that the Task View should include basic task information by default. It's super time consuming to set the columns each and everytime you need to know something as simple as start date, time estimate. It works in other views, why not the task view?

I cannot believe this is not an option. If ClickUp wants "tasks" to be treated like "projects" then "subtasks" which are the actual "tasks" need default columns.

Yes please!
I though I just didn't take care of it yet, but realise it wasn't possible... A pity because it would be such a big help and not loosing time whanging it in every task!
It forces you to open it in liost or open each subtask individually.

This is very much needed. When I have layers of subtasks and each of them require this action, it becomes very frustrating. I think it needs setting at the user level, not workspace level

This is quite a simple feature and many people asking for that! Would be really useful to optimize subtasks management!

Agreed! It's currently too time consuming for our team to manually change sub tasks columns individually. It impacts our overall experience and affects our desired outcomes from each task.
