Feature Requests

Seeing tasks by week isn't helpful when a lot of people bill mont to month. Because projects take several months, it would be really nice to see them as monthly tasks so I don't have to manually add up each week. It's really difficult to figure out how much time was logged each month when the timer only shows a total for the entire project.

Recently it seems that the timeline view was modified, I remember that before, when the weekends were shown, they came out with a different shade than normal weekdays, allowing us to know the beginning of each new week, now everything is displayed uniformly, making planning in the timeline more difficult.

Recently the Task Locations in the Timeline View changed to only show the list name not the full folder path. This does not give us enough information to uniquely identify the location. Can this be added as a custimization option so that users can choose to either display the full location path or just the list name?

I love the ability to zoom in on the Timeline view, and the light gray background is good, too. But I seem to have lost the highlighted weekends. Very helpful to be able to differentiate those and see weekdays v, weekends!

Currently it's possible to group tasks by Status, Assignee, Priority, Tags, List and Custom Field. It'd be great to add grouping by task type: Task, Milestone, and other custom-made types.

It would be nice if we could add our custom views to the task cards that appear in the Time View. This would allow us to manage as efficiently from Time as we can in List.

Hi team, I’d like to request an update to the timeline template. In the previous version, weekends were highlighted in a different color, but this feature seems to be missing now. Treat subtasks in the timeline view the same as list view. Slightly indent them on the list to the left of the timeline so it's easier to see that it's part of a parent task. Also be able to reorder the subtasks in timeline via drag and drop

It's really awkward when I have multiple projects in a timeline and their sub/parent tasks are not on the same lines or at least directly below/above one another. I group by other fields for reporting and quick views so grouping by project isn't a solution for me.
