I use ClickUp as my primary organizational hub; covering resource storage, SOPs, client files, operations and fulfillment workflows, idea drafting, content development, task and project management, team member training, and most recently, CRM. The following suggestions are based on my current workflow. Some may be quick wins, others could be longer-term considerations for the roadmap. Selective Subpage Export (Docs) Currently, the export function applies to the entire doc. It would be helpful to export selected subpages rather than the full document or just the parent page. I often have specific documents I'd like to pull out for analysis without exporting everything. Subtask Custom Fields & Statuses (CRM Use Case) I use ClickUp as a CRM, with task entries functioning as client profiles. Each list has statuses and custom fields tailored to that use case: for example, statuses like "Active" and "Inactive" instead of "To Do / In Progress / Done," and fields like Contact Name and Phone instead of Task Type or Duration. The issue is that subtasks inherit the parent task's custom fields and statuses, which doesn't always make sense. A feature that allows subtasks to have their own distinct custom fields and statuses would be valuable; especially when you're configuring ClickUp to behave differently across specific lists and spaces. Brain Summaries : Include Attachments I love the Brain summaries feature, but I've noticed that summaries in the activity section pull from comments only, not attachments. It would be great if attachments were included in the summary context; similar to HubSpot's Copilot feature. When handing off a client profile to a team member, I want them to get the full picture without having to dig through files manually.
