It doesn't look like there's a way to set a virtual background when you're in a sync call. This is pretty important for remote workers.

I’d like to quickly open a chat within ClickUp, without having to leave a list or navigate away from the current page. It should be easy to check for new messages and respond to them seamlessly. Previously, I could jump between Slack and ClickUp without leaving the ClickUp window, which was very convenient. Now, it’s more difficult because I have to switch between entire pages. Like for example in the same floating window when you open Clickup AI. Also (sound) notifications are extremely important.

We really want to differentiate the sounds of a task and chat since our "tasks" sound is related negative since it's reminders for dues or that something needs to be fixed. We need this before we change over to chat so the notifications for chat is something that's new, positive and does not physiologically makes them stressed. And also makes them understand what is a message and what is a task.

The Chat Message API does not currently support true @mentions that populate the tagged_users array or trigger notifications. Markdown like @ Name is visual-only and doesn’t register as a real mention. Requesting support for: • tagged_users metadata population • Notification triggering • UI-consistent display (highlight + profile link)

Too many channels for unwanted folders/ list. Disabling the chat in each section would be the quickest way to clean unwanted chats.

Would love to have a separate chat desktop app so it is more user friendly. I usually use web browser for clickup so I can open multiple tabs but when I received chats I need to use other tab for the chat though this might be a work around but I think it will be better to separate it as a desktop app. This might resolve the ring notifications and task bar notifications. I know this is connected already to boards/list but hope you consider this as well.

Hello ClickUp Team, I’m writing to request a feature enhancement to the ClickUp Public API regarding comments on images attached to tasks. I’ve searched extensively through the official Public API documentation and related resources, but I couldn’t find any endpoint or reference that allows creating comments directly on images (image annotations / image comments) within a task via the API. Here’s the context of my use case: I’m building an integration between two different ClickUp workspaces: • One workspace belongs to a marketing agency that I’m a client of. In this workspace, they upload creative files (images) and I usually approve or request changes by commenting directly on the images. • The other workspace belongs to my own travel company, where I want to keep the marketing tasks synchronized for internal tracking and visibility. This integration is being built using Make (Integromat) and relies entirely on ClickUp’s Public API. While I can successfully sync tasks, attachments, and regular task comments, I couldn’t find any way to programmatically create or mirror image-specific comments (the comments attached to a specific position on an image). At the moment, this limitation prevents us from fully syncing the approval and feedback flow between the two workspaces, since image comments are a critical part of the creative review process. I’d like to ask if: • This functionality already exists but is undocumented, or • There are plans to expose image comments / image annotations in the Public API (both for reading and creating them). Adding this capability would greatly improve advanced integrations and multi-workspace workflows, especially for teams working with design approvals. The message or post that is sent should include a link to the task that triggered the automation. Enhancements could include things like: When the automation is triggered, prompt the user with a window to include more context for the message that will be sent. Allow the option to tag specific users that are following that list as part of the message/post. Allow the ability to @mention all users that are part of that list or message/post

The ability to add bookmarks/pinned items to the top of a channel for quick access. This should be possible for any ClickUp object that can be viewed and modified right within the channel or external links that just allow for quick navigation.

Right now it takes more than a few clicks to assign a comment to someone and to create a task from a comment on the new ClickUp chat ( both on mobile and desktop ). But to make working seamless, we shud have the ability to click a button next to chat message and convert it into a task or assigned comment. The button shud be separate for creation of task and separate for creation of assigned comment. And in some cases the comment / task shud be auto assigned to the person with whom we are doing direct chat / or there shud be a way to figure out by ai whom to auto assign the task / comment or some default option in settings and this shud become a single click feature.
