add back feature to pin favorites to the top menu in 4.0

ClickUp 4.0 removed the dedicated Favorites item from the left Navigation bar. Previously, Favorites were always one click (or hover) away and acted like a focused "quick access" list. Now Favorites are effectively buried under Home (hover/expand), mixed in with a bunch of other Home content. That makes it slower to navigate and less scannable, especially for users who rely on Favorites as their primary way to jump between Spaces/Lists/Docs. Request: Please add Favorites back as a dedicated Navigation item, or at minimum make Favorites an option in Navigation customization so users/admins can pin it to the left sidebar. Why it matters: Favorites are a core workflow accelerator. Making them a sub-menu under Home increases friction for frequent context switching.

I'd liek to hide a section in the new clickup 4.0. Since I work alone, I don't need the "Channels" section, so I would like to hide it from my sidebar. Same thing goes for the "Direct messages. I know it's a new beta test so I'm just sending this constructive feedback.

The last sidebar navigation was pretty good, effective yet simple... This new way is far to complicated and cluttered for most people to understand especially new users that I'm trying to onboard and get comfortable with this app. I like that Clickup is always trying to innovate but sometimes these drastic changes just make the app less intuitive and harder to use. Please consider changing it back!!! 🙏😫

So I received the forced update from 3.0 to 4.0 -- and all of my bookmarked "favorite" items have completely destroyed the system, I had to go back and rename everything as my favorite "nicknames" overrode the original names. Now I realize in 4.0 you cannot rename a favorite without renaming the entire item for everyone. Can we please add this back from 3.0 into the new 4.0 version? Not sure the category, as "favorites" is not listed, so hopefully sidebar puts me in the right place. Thanks!

Currently you cannot use the collapse Caret to completely collapse a space if you are actively located in it. When I share a folder with new people, I need to guide them through finding it because it is not intuitive. In the left-side menu, "Shared with me" shows a sharing icon and it is not expanded. This creates a poor experience for new users and makes them resistant to using Clickup. I would like to help you make a better first impression :) People are used to a "share" icon meaning that they would click on it to share. So they don't try to click on it to expand it, and then every single one of them contacts me to say they don't have access. I even made a little picture guide to help people (attached) so I don't have to keep explaining it. If you expand the Shared with Me list by default, they would be able to see the content in the left side menu and know that they have access. Changing the icon from a share icon to a folder or expand/collapse icon would also help. It would make it more intuitive that you can click on it to see what was shared with you.

When I click on a page name in the sidebar, ClickUp opens the last subpage I viewed under that page instead of the main (parent) page itself. This makes navigation confusing, especially when I just want to return to the top-level page to access its overview or main content. Feature request: Could you please add a setting or toggle that allows users to choose what happens when they click a page in the sidebar? For example: “Open parent page” “Open last viewed subpage” This would make navigation a lot easier. I often go from a main project page → subpage → chat → back to sidebar. When I click the parent page name in the sidebar, I expect to see the parent page again, not the subpage I was last viewing.

I suggest a layout that allows users to set the Spaces in alphabetically order

Please bring back the "tasks" icon to the sidebar/navigation bar. Tasks was the most useful item in the sidebar and the new update has removed it. Please consider at least letting users add it back in to their sidebars with the "customize navigation" setting. Right now, it's totally disappeared and users can't add it.
