With ClickUp 3, when a task was mentioned the task's ID or Custom ID were displayed along with the task name and the task type/status emblem. With the introduction of ClickUp 4.0, mentioned tasks now have the status spelled out along with assignee information, but the ID/Custom ID from the mentioned task is no longer displayed. My organization has a OneDrive file structure where the Custom ID of tasks is numeric and directly corresponds to the first characters of a task's folder name, making it easy to search for and index our work. Having the Custom ID display for mentioned tasks helped us quickly reference and look up their files. With the Custom ID no longer displaying for mentioned tasks, the time and navigation required to get related task information has increased for us. Would it be possible for us to get task ID/Custom ID back for mentioned tasks, or the ability to have workplace settings for what is displayed when a task is mentioned?

For some time now, we've seen that it takes a long time for ClickUp to load in the browser. The charging time is exaggerated. We thought it was because of the amount of tasks or information we had in our Work Spaces, but we tried new spaces or without so much information and the times are the same. Please do something so that it doesn't take so long.

I just wondered why you guys keep changing the colours we can set across ClickUp, and why there is not alignment across Spaces and Lists. My Space colours have changed, and, curiously, the default options I have for List colours are completely different (they seem to have stayed the same). For example, I used to be able to have this bright green for Spaces as well as Lists, but now I can only have it for Lists. Being able to set the colours we want is really important, as it unifies certain areas of our Workspaces as well as other apps. It means you know what topic something is about across all of ClickUp and other apps. But now they are all different, and they get changed randomly. I would also just like to be able to have custom options for Spaces that can be saved, like we can for Lists. This would also help with defaults being changed in the future. On that same token, you have also changed my Tag colours. They used to be bright, which caught my eye. Now they are really muted. Even if I change the colour using the colour picker, they are desaturated, and the text inside is grey instead of a brighter version of the colour I had. The whole point of tags is to quickly and easily see them called out. But muting the colours stops this. And if I set a custom colour, I really don't want ClickUp overriding that and desaturating them for a muted look. I want them bright so I see them. I understand if you have changed the defaults for, say, accessibility reasons, but if we choose custom colours, you should not override them.

Hello, this last couple updates to the Notifications and now Task creation is absolutely horrendous. Why would you increase the number of clicks one needs to do for mundane tasks? Right now when I want to create a task I need to click Create task, then the 3 dots, then custom fields and only after that am I able to fill the custom fields. What logical reason would make you do this? Moreover, when the last Notification / Inbox update is even worse. I need to open the Notification, then click Details, then Expand and only then am I in the task view. Please for the love of god and everything thats holy stop adding unnecessary clicks for things that do NOT NEED them. Thank you.

When expanding Subtasks, Lists, Custom Fields and anything else that can be expanded to Full Screen, I would like the option to be able to expand the size like we can with the Dashboard to remove the need to have to scroll across or down. At the moment, I find there is way too much wasted white space when selecting full screen. I often have quite a few Custom Fields that I want to see on the one screen but even when I don't have many, I still need to scroll across. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean. This example clearly shows that it's not really full screen, but plenty of white space. So when I have a long list of either columns or rows, I have to scroll down or across instead of seeing the entire data on the one screen.

I'd like to see more color themes with 3.0 or even the chance to choose your own color or enter a hex code if possible.

In spite of being an emo, the dark mode is actually too dark right now. The old one was better, in my humble and emotive opinion. Thx

I’d like to share some feedback regarding the Reminder feature in ClickUp. While I appreciate the ability to set reminders quickly, I’ve found the overall experience quite confusing and lacking in key areas. ## 1. Reminders Are Hard to Locate The reminder function is not easily accessible within the app. There’s no clear or dedicated section where I can see all my active reminders at a glance. Instead, reminders seem to be scattered across different views, making it difficult to manage them efficiently. ## 2. Reminder Data Does Not Update Reliably I’ve noticed that reminder data does not always sync or refresh properly. For example, after completing or dismissing a reminder, the counter or status sometimes still shows outdated information. This inconsistency undermines trust in the tool, especially when trying to stay on top of time-sensitive tasks. ## 3. No Overview of the Full Reminder List Currently, I can only add reminders, but I cannot view a complete, consolidated list of all reminders I’ve created. Without a proper overview, it’s easy to miss or forget about existing reminders. A simple list view—similar to what is available for tasks—would greatly improve usability. ## Suggested Improvements Add a dedicated “Reminders” section in the main navigation. Ensure real-time updates for reminder statuses across all devices. Provide a clear, filterable list of all reminders (active, completed, overdue). Consider adding a calendar or timeline view for reminders to help with planning. I’m a regular ClickUp user and truly value its flexibility, but the current reminder experience feels fragmented. Improving this would make a big difference in daily task management.

It would be excellent to have the tool 100% translated into Portuguese-BR, although most of it already has the translation applied, many parts are left untranslated, such as the app for example. We also have several problems with translating parts of ClickUp that are clearly not yet translated, such as days of the week when viewing the agenda and also the days when the tasks are due.

Every time I launch ClickUp 4.0 (with 4.0 already enabled) OR switch workspaces. I see an animation play introducing 4.0 and AI agents. Every...Single...Time. Please have a way to disable this animation.
