Feature Requests

I'd like to have an automation that is triggered by the time in a status. For example: When task has been in Review status for 5 days, add tag. Another example for user support: When task is In Progress status for 10 days, send email template.

It would be really helpful to be able to add a relationship between the task that triggered an automation, and the task that was created as a result of that automation. This would allow my team members to see the connection between our master tickets and the individual tasks that get created with automations as they move through our workflow without manually setting each relationship after the automation triggers.

Right now, automations are done at the list level. This gives far less control since every task in that last would be subject to that automation. I am suggesting that automations be done at the TASK level so that you can set something for just 1 task.

It would be great to have the ability to change task names through automation. When someone submits a form, it would be ideal to have the task name change to a relevant field submission from the form or similar.

When programing an automation I want to be able to select a template List or Folder from the Template Center and select where it should be created. This would allow for real entreprise process and avoid clutter.

Please create an option to automate removing a task from additional list

I'd love to be able to apply automations on a global level (across the whole workspace). The way our company uses ClickUp means that we want each space to have the same "features", are organized the same, and are utilized the same. This means whenever I create a custom automation for one space, I then have to manually add it to all of our other spaces. We have quite a few spaces, so it takes a while. Having the ability to apply automations to a whole workspace would save a lot of time :).

We use Email integration extensively in our various Lists. It would be fantastic if we could automate this: If no email reply after X days, then automatically reply back with a Template response and close out the task. This would be especially helpful for Support Ticket use cases.

Hello ClickUp Team, I love using ClickUp to manage my daily recurring tasks and track time, but I’m missing a crucial feature that would greatly improve productivity and time management. It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to set hard time limits on tasks (especially recurring ones) — for example, limiting a task to 30 minutes per day — and receive automatic alerts or reminders when the time spent approaches or exceeds that limit. This feature would help users maintain better focus and prevent spending too much time on any one task, improving overall efficiency. Thank you for considering this enhancement!

Ability to trigger an automation (or AI Agent) when a task is changed. More specification if any of the attachments or linked Doc are edited, uploaded, downloaded.
