When I record video clips from ClickU, I can share my screen and mic but there is no way to turn on my camera. I think this could be a great feature since many our clients want to see a face, especially when I do onboarding, walk-thru videos

When a clip recording fails to upload, allow users to manually download the failed .webm file and re-upload it directly into the ClickUp Clip Library for the relevant task, doc, or comment. CONTEXT: Occasionally, ClickUp's built-in clip recorder fails to upload clips due to network issues or internal errors. When this happens, users are left with a downloaded .webm file they can’t directly re-upload to ClickUp. The workaround is time-consuming and clunky: Download the .webm Convert to .mp4 Upload to Google Drive or another 3rd party Embed the external link into a ClickUp doc or comment When a clip fails to upload, let me: Download the failed .webm Manually upload it to the Clip Library or a task/doc Right now I have to convert it, upload to Google Drive, and embed it manually—huge hassle. Just let us upload failed clips directly.

Ability to start and stop a Clip video, ability to record audio only without screen share

We use clips heavily for many purposes as they can help give much more context than comments, screenshots at times. Testing instructions, bug recordings, etc. Many times we add these to comments within tasks, however they can get lost in activity section easily. It would be great to be able to link them like we can with docs or tasks. This way its essentially "stickied" and easily available and visible. Even our description areas tend to get quite busy, so the relationship/linking area provides a perfect place for something like this.

From support: It would be nice if Guests had access to the Clip feature.

It would be great to be able to have our webcam show in clips. It says "Replaces Loom" in the ClickApps library, but without the ability to show a webcam also, I don't think it's quite there. Much more personal with a head in a circle! 👍

I have been creating clips to provide asynchronous instruction to staff. I am linking them to tasks but it would be helpful if I could attach tags or custom fields to the tasks to that staff could search by category to find the clips later or to find examples for similar tasks.

It would be really helpful to have folders for clips to keep them organized! Especially for organizing SOPS + stuff

Hello ClickUp team! Clips has a ton of potential, but my organization simply cannot adopt it without some of the key features provided by Loom, or even Zoom Clips. Most notably, without the ability to edit Clips, it's just not a viable productivity-enhancing tool. Please provide editing features so that we can take a look at adopting it long-term. Thanks!
