Hands Down this would be a super helpful option. We manage a ton of spaces and it would be a great feature to assist collaborators navigating through them. I have sorted manually for my use personally, but having that as an option would be great.

Flagging this from the customer-facing side. I have a client (agency managing 20+ Spaces) who just ran into this exact issue. They selected "Alphabetical A-Z" on the All Spaces page expecting their sidebar to reorder, but only the right-side "Visible Spaces" panel sorted, which isn't even clickable or navigable. The sidebar stayed in its original manual order.

This creates a confusing UX where the sort action appears to "work" but has zero functional impact on how users actually navigate. For workspaces with many Spaces, manually dragging each one into alphabetical order is not scalable. Would love to see the sort option actually apply to the sidebar, or at minimum, make it clear that it doesn't.

I reinforce the request to adjust the platform.

6 years and we still are waiting for an alphabetical sort function. nuts.

Please allow automatic alphabetical reorder of spaces and include the option to make this a workspace setting so each individual user does not have to manually organize their own sidebar. Current functionality is a product roadblock — time consuming to manage and chaotic to work within. Please prioritize!

In addition, the resort should happen automatically which new item added. Currently when a new folder is added in a space it just stays at the bottom of the list until you reselect the Sort option in the space menu.

Is 6 years to make a reorder in 6 years possible?
