Feature Requests

Create a system where our clients can create new support tickets for issues. Should be able to create a custom form and use a ticket number system. It would also be nice to have a guest view role for this.

*Note: this request concerns organizing custom fields into groups, not grouping views by custom fields. Currently we have the ability to set custom fields at the Space > Folder > List levels, but it would make sense, and be immensely helpful, to extend that capability one level down to the task level as well. One idea – and perhaps the easiest to implement - would be to simply allow organizing of custom fields into groups with the ability to collapse groups (e.g., unused groups) at the task level. Setting custom fields at the space level, with the ability to customize at the folder and list levels completely makes sense, but there are, in many cases, a variety of task types at the list level that don't need to share the same custom fields inherited from the list where they live. To give an example, for my industry I track real estate transactions (purchases and sales) on a per client basis, with the client name at the folder level, plus specific real estate transactions at the task level, in addition to other types of information related to the client and their history as a current client. After fairly extensive experimentation and trial and error, I have 4 types of tasks (indicated by status) that are tracked at the folder (client) level: Client Data (for general client info prior to making a purchase or sale) Transaction Data (for specific purchases and sales to track contract terms and deadlines) Tour History (for logging a history of properties a client has toured) Offer History (for logging offers to purchase, made or received by the client depending on if the client is buying or selling a home) Because of the extensive data related to a real estate transaction that needs to be captured (to track contractual terms and deadlines, in addition to performance data for the team dashboard), the list of custom fields is pretty long. But we don't need to see that full list for the other three types of tasks that are being tracked at the folder level. It's not a deal breaker, as custom fields is largely what makes CU a viable alternative to other platforms like Airtable, but it does add a layer of clutter and perhaps complexity that just doesn't need to be there in many cases. I'm super impressed by the goals feature. I still made this topic to list some of the things that I noticed and I would think would make it potentially more powerful. Not yet sure if they are needed, just list them as I go. Allow owners to be linked to some people that can view a specific list. That way you make it automatic Allow to import tasks within a certain due date range, ideal for sprint planning. Allow to make this 'automatic' or 'import once', so you can make sure that things in the goals do or don't change automatically. Allow this to link even to project or space level, to get a top level view of progress in total. Allow to add lists to a goal afterwards I accidentally clicked some lists twice, allow to remove them in the selection and possibly block duplicate selections. Removing them now removes all occurrences of that list. When you add lists or tasks to e.g. a euro budget, I would make two progress bars. One for the target of money, one for the task target. That would feel more logical I think. When setting a target in value, allow to overshoot to see how well we did. Currently max value is the target value. Allow to add a task or list to a goal from the list or task itself. Add a burndown chart, comments (but I saw those are already planned in the video I think) Allow to monitor resources, as I consider this a 'bundle' of work. I would like to see an overview for each staff involved in this how many hours of estimated effort goes in Probably many more once we start using it :) Loving it so far! I think this is a great feature as it is.

Ideally it would be very helpful & more productive to have the ability to see 'Description' for any item in the 'List View'. Technically this can be done by adding a 'new long text' field as well, however that would mean we are duplicating the text/content, as the Description for the task/item is already written in the Description Column. So please, consider the feature of displayed 'Description' field info in a Column under list-view.

exp: I want custom statuses for tasks and, at the same time, simple statuses for subtasks

It could be used to have some "Cancelled, Closed, NotABug, ..."

Logical operators in Actions are necessary such as AND, OR, XOR, etc... for example, Custom Field Value Or another Custom Field Value

Like publicly shared Views, please add support for publicly shared Dashboards. This is key for providing high-level visibility to people lacking guest accounts.
