Problem: Often within a single list, we have different types of tasks: some represent projects, designs, and smaller action items. Each one should go through their own set of statuses, but this is currently not possible. We are forced to either use dropdown custom fields as a workaround or create large status sets to try and encompass everything, leading to confusion among people. Ask: Give the ability for statuses to be set by type. This will allow each task type to have its own status workflow.

Hey! How do I plan the same task on more different days - e.g. 3h today and 2h tomorrow, BUT with specified "from-to" hours for each day, not just draging it accross 2 days. I'd like to be able to work on the same task a few hours every day, however don't want to use the recurring trigger as the task doesn't show up in the calendar until the trigger is activated. Currently I duplicate the same task and schedule it on different days. Thanks for any suggestions!

When I open a parent task and scroll down to view the subtasks, the "name" column is stretched so wide I can barely see the assignee and can't see the due date at all. I have to manually drag the name column to be narrower every single time in order to see who something is assigned to (or make an assignment) and when it's due (or change the due date). It would be nice to have a way to make the Name column narrower by default so we don't have to do this every time we open a parent task.

Could we get the ability to search inside a Task? Right now, there is no way to search for something inside a specific Task and its Subtasks only. E.g., you know you have written something in a Task Description or a Comment somewhere, or there is an attachment somewhere, etc, inside the Task/its nested Subtasks, but you have no idea where. How it's currently set up, you have to manually trawl through every single nested subtask to find it, or search across the main search, and go through however many unrelated results from different areas of your Workspace. If we could search within a Parent Task itself, it would really help to find things more quickly. Yes, using Brain can help with this, but we should not have to use AI for a basic search function.

Subtask filtering should also apply to checklist items. It's intuitive, as a divider is placed above TODO header, and next header of the same size is ATTACHMENTS.

By default are comments sorted from oldest to newest. When long conversation is happening, you must scroll to the bottom to see latest comment. More logical is latest comment on the top. But as everyone need is different, it will be great if everyone can set default sorting of the comments as per his needs.

It is tedious to individually delete data put into a common column for several tasks, especially deadlines.

When a Task is linked, or a Custom Relationship is added, the Task name should be visible.

In Clickup 3.0 we can set "Default Task Type" in a list (Which is awesome). But it doesn't let you set default "subtask" types. e.g. - I want to make a "Person" task type for the default in my List, but I want each Sub-Task of those "People" to be an actual regular Task. (This will help me utilize CRM style functions, while letting those subtasks show up in my everything view as actionable tasks, without showing the CRM lead name, since those aren't actionable tasks...)
