From Josef: Remapping subtasks from parent task due date is great. But we also need it the othe way: whenever a subtask is delayed and rescheduled then the parent task due date should be updated according to new due dates for subtasks. Ideally the parent task due date could be auto-updated to max(due date for all subtasks) or due date for the last subtask in a chain of dependencies.

Allow team members to set leave or vacation dates, and prevent others to assign tasks on those dates? (Submitted via Intercom)

For example, I want an event every Monday from 8.00 to 9.00am. And when I complete the event it should automatically create the event for next week at the same TIME. (Suggested by PSG)

Maybe it's because I'm an individual and not a member of a business, but I wish I could use ClickUp as my planner in addition to the beautiful project manager it is. Instead of relying on external applications like Google to manage my schedule and struggling with the integration, it would be nice if I could schedule events directly into the ClickUp calendar. Then I could manage my projects and time in the same location. That, for me, would crown ClickUp as the ultimate productivity king.

There have been nice updates on due dates, but I'd like to be able to set them and automatically update them by dependency. For example, once Task 1 occurs, Task 2 is due within 48 business hours. So, when I mark Task 1 complete, I'd like the due date on Task 2 to update to 48 business hours later. This allows the template to automatically update.

We need a feature that would allow us to set dynamic due dates for the tasks in the templates. For example, if I set the due dates for tasks A, B, and C as below; Task A: due date=today Task B: due date=today+5 days Task C: due date=today+1 month The list created from this template on 4/18/2023 should be able to automatically set the dates accordingly; Task A: due date=4/18/2023 Task B: due date=4/25/2023 Task C: due date=5/18/2023 Please note that I have only counted working days when the parameter is given in "days".

With estimated time, is it possible to break this down into weeks, so I can see what capacity my team has week by week?

I would love to have an "alert" when scheduling a task if the Assignee is at or over capacity. Workload view is helpful for planning the week/next 2 weeks, but it would be great to see this as a project manager when tasking things out.

Would like to be able to assign a weekly/monthly available resource value e.g. 30 hrs/week or 0.75 FTE's and then, based on the estimated project work hours would be able to determine ~ how many weeks a project would take with resources assigned. Would also be able to see the available current and future capacity for burn out monitoring, staff effectiveness, future project planning and projection, additional resource requirements.

Organization and Space admins should be able to set up Holiday Table so that warning is issued if one attempts to schedule a task during the holiday. Holiday table could as well be used to set up "freeze period", etc..
