Make comment private and share only with selected people.

Would be nice to have the ability to highlight a line or text in a task description and comment on it. Then— it would show a link in the comments section and quote the highlighted text. There would also be an indication that indicates that line or text was commented on. This makes it easier if you have a lengthy description and team members want to comment on something in particular! Similar to how notion does this: https://bit.ly/2CcPq3j

This comes in handy if you work after office hours, to schedule comments or messages to be sent automatically first thing in the morning.

It's so easy to miss the threaded reply as it's currently collapsed by default... could there be an option to keep them expanded? Thanks!

Sometimes, task discussions blend into a discussion about multiple tasks. Currently, discussions are easily lost when this happens because conversations are not being had in their associated tasks. It would improve workflows and overall team organisation if Admins had to ability to move a comment (or entire thread) into a different task. A simple notification to contributors "A thread you are part of has been moved to [task name]" would suffice.

It would be cool if you had the ability to pin important comments to the top of the comments thread. Asana does it in a nice way.

Create a way to export a task list with the included comments.

Feature request: Add a "copy to task..." feature inside the 3-dots menu on comments. This would be similar to the Ctrl+K menu where you could search for a task where you'd like to copy the comment to. You'd have the option to "copy-paste comment" (this would result in a duplicate of the original comment, ie. a living 'mirror' of the original comment that can be replied to in either location - the equivalent of having a task live in multiple lists?) or "cut-paste" comment (removing it from the original location so that the only active version of the comment is in the new location). Use case 1: team members post comments inside sub-tasks while they work; near the wrap up process, we want to easily move the most relevant comments from the sub-tasks into the parent task, so they can be easily reviewed by a manager, who is the assignee on the Parent task. Manager does not want to have to drill into every single subtask in order to review comments. This would be ideal for "mirroring" comments (moving a 'mirror' version up to the parent task). Use case 2: you write out a nice long comment, then you realize you put it on the wrong task and you want to move it easily to the correct one. This would be a use case for a cut/paste action.

Dear CU Team, I would like to request a feature update regarding the timestamp and tag functionality after a comment is edited. Currently, when a comment is updated, the timestamp does not automatically update, and changes made to tags in an edited comment are not reflected accordingly. This issue undermines the core purpose of CU, which is to keep everything organized and up-to-date. An automatic update of the timestamp and tag reflection in edited comments would significantly enhance CU's functionality, ensuring more accurate tracking and better user experience. I urge you to reconsider and take action on this matter to improve the overall effectiveness of CU. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
