Comment templates

As a task flows through each stage (e.g. Icebox, In-Progress, QA, Complete), there are different requirements that are necessary for each pipeline. We often copy paste a form into the comments of a task when moving from In Progress to QA. It would be nice to be able to apply a template to a comment which fills in questions that need to be answered instead of having to manually copy paste from another source.

It would be great if we could have the ability to create a list of standardized comments to pick from. For e.g. all you need to say is 'Review and Approved'. Could we have a function to select these predetermined comments, based on your industry, in a dropdown box?

Hi,
It's possible to create templates for almost anything in Clickup EXCEPT for comments.
I would like to have / use comment templates (standardization / formats) with predefined comments.
Example predefined comment of a developer:
- What did it do?
- Where (staging or production environment) to test the code changes?
- Link to specific page
I want this because of multiple reasons, because manual comments without templates are:
- Time consuming
- Not standardizable
- Most of the time not prepared well
- Not for beginners
- Very often comments are incomplete
It would be great if you can introduce this because the comments section is probably the most used part of your / a projectmanagement tool.

The ability to be able to quickly make the same comment within multiple tasks by either applying a template comment or even adding a shortcut where you have a list of commonly used comments that you can add easily.
For example:
Where there is the / Commands have one which is a template comment so you can go into a task and type /C (or something like that) and then a list of your pre-saved comments come up and you can just click which one you want to add
This is a common feature in ChatBot services where there is a button or you press / and a list of common replies pop up. (I attached an image of this below)
I think this would be a really handy feature for when you are making the same comments on multiple tasks

Would love this feature in a future update. We often have the same types of comments for most projects (particularly around milestone updates), so it would be a huge help to have a list of comment templates to pull from.

We are currently looking for a solution to do this. Right now we copy and paste from a bug report template in a CU document, but would love to simple select a pre-defined comment. I have found a way to set up a template that will work with comments, but I have to refresh CU to see the template once I add it to the task, additionally the timestamp when uploaded pulls the timestamp from when the template was created, rather than when I added it to the task. I'm commenting in the past! Please implement comment templates!

As long as I can do a slash command and my comment template populates the comment field - I will be happy.
We are working on standardizing status updates with required pieces of information. A comment template would be incredibly useful to ensure the commenter includes whats necessary.
