Comment templates

As a task flows through each stage (e.g. Icebox, In-Progress, QA, Complete), there are different requirements that are necessary for each pipeline. We often copy paste a form into the comments of a task when moving from In Progress to QA. It would be nice to be able to apply a template to a comment which fills in questions that need to be answered instead of having to manually copy paste from another source.

This would be very helpful. Use the comments section to record meeting minutes. Would be great to be able to create a comment tempalte for this

We are currently looking for a solution to do this. Right now we copy and paste from a bug report template in a CU document, but would love to simple select a pre-defined comment. I have found a way to set up a template that will work with comments, but I have to refresh CU to see the template once I add it to the task, additionally the timestamp when uploaded pulls the timestamp from when the template was created, rather than when I added it to the task. I'm commenting in the past! Please implement comment templates!

Esta solicitud lleva 3 años y medio y aun no lo han activado. Creo que lo podemos dar por imposible. Una pena

As long as I can do a slash command and my comment template populates the comment field - I will be happy.
We are working on standardizing status updates with required pieces of information. A comment template would be incredibly useful to ensure the commenter includes whats necessary.

templates are a real time saver when communicating with customers.
this feature is already available for emails, so it should be easy to adopt this for comments.
could you plz? :-)

Can we please change this FR from "Comment Templates" to "Text templates" (Tasks, Comments, Mails, ...) with a central configuration to select where and by whom a template can be used?
E-Mail Templates do this very well already but as this request describes, you may also want to use the same (and further) templates in comments and issues.
In Short: Extend E-Mail Templates to all other entity types and add check boxes to the template for which types to enable. Then show the symbol below the input like it is already done very well for Mail Templates.
A good example for that are "Issue templates", which allow to ask predefined questions for a bug report. You may need this in mails, but also internally in tasks oder even comments.
And I guess there are tons of other cases where this could be helpful. Limiting this to mails or Comments wouldn't be flexible enough for a great, flexible solution like ClickUp :) Thank you!
