Our team regularly works with Statements of Work (SOWs) that include scope, deliverables, and timelines. Right now, we have to manually break these down into ClickUp tasks and subtasks. While ClickUp AI helps summarize Docs and generate subtasks when prompted, the process still requires manual copy-pasting and setup. Requested Feature: A native Autopilot AI capability to: Read an uploaded or linked SOW/contract (PDF, Doc, or ClickUp Doc). Extract deliverables and milestones directly into a structured task hierarchy. Map dates from the SOW timeline into due dates and dependencies. Optionally apply a template (assignees, tags, custom fields). Why it matters: Saves significant time and reduces human error in interpreting contracts. Ensures consistent project setup across multiple SOWs. Provides immediate visibility into workload, resourcing, and dependencies. Keeps teams aligned without needing a dedicated PM to “translate” contracts into tasks. Example Workflow: Upload SOW → Autopilot AI parses deliverables and timeline. AI proposes a task tree (Parent = Milestone, Subtasks = Deliverables). Project manager reviews, accepts, and assigns. Tasks auto-populate in the correct List with due dates/dependencies set. Impact: This would be transformative for agencies, consulting firms, and professional services teams that live on recurring SOW-based work. It would move ClickUp closer to being a true “project autopilot” platform.
