Please make a task's Planner focus time block status available throughout ClickUp as a task attribute that can be used in Automations, filters, views, and reporting. Today, ClickUp knows whether a task has been scheduled with a Planner focus time block, but that information appears to be available only within the Planner UI. I'd like to be able to identify and take action on any task based on whether it has been time blocked. For example, I should be able to: -Filter a List or view to show tasks with a Planner time block -Filter for tasks without a Planner time block -Create an Automation when a time block is added The larger need is simply for ClickUp to expose whether a task has been time blocked. Once that information is available as a filterable/automatable task property, users could create many different workflows around it. Planner scheduling should not be purely visual. If ClickUp knows a task has been timeblocked on someone's calendar, that scheduling state should be usable elsewhere in ClickUp.

Most automations that perform an action will show up in the activity log for a task, but if the action is to call a webhook, the trigger of that automation is not recorded. Our workaround is to leave a comment as a second action after the webhook is triggered, but that sends alerts to followers. It would be more beneficial if all automations that were triggered were recorded on a task in its activity log.

Currently any automation of adding a new subtask only adds it to the end of existing subtasks. I'd like the flexibility to add it between other subtasks, at the start of the subtasks etc.

I'd love to see the ability to assign Custom Fields at the Task Type level. Currently, all custom fields are shown regardless of the task type, which can create unnecessary clutter and make tasks harder to scan. Proposed solution: Allow admins to define which custom fields are displayed for each Task Type. For example: Bug → Severity, Environment, Reproduction Steps Feature Request → Business Value, Priority, Target Release Support Ticket → Customer, SLA, Resolution Status When a task's type is selected, only the relevant custom fields would appear at the top of the task vs. the predetermine fields set by click up for all tasks. Benefits: Cleaner, more focused task view Reduced confusion from irrelevant fields Better data quality by showing only what users need More flexibility for teams managing multiple workflows in the same Space or List This would make Task Types much more powerful by allowing them to define not just the icon and status, but also the information required for that type of work.

ClickUp already offers several ways to organize work — including manual subtask ordering, sorting by fields, dependencies, checklists, and custom fields. However, there does not appear to be a native way to maintain a visible ordered sequence for tasks or subtasks when the order itself matters. In workflows like onboarding, implementation plans, SOPs, learning paths, and staged rollout plans, users often need items to stay in a clear sequence such as 1, 1.1, 1.2, 2, etc. Today this can be approximated with manual sorting or a Number custom field, but if a new step is inserted in the middle, the sequence still has to be manually renamed or rekeyed. A native sequence / auto-renumber capability would make ordered workflows much easier to maintain and far more readable.

ClickUp is difficult to manage at scale because many important actions cannot be completed by AI or automation. Users are forced to move and organize large amounts of data manually, which is time-consuming and difficult. We need the ability to: Move folders between Spaces; Move tasks between folders and lists; Move Docs and Whiteboards between locations; Create and delete Docs and Whiteboards; Move multiple items in bulk; Add icons or emojis to folders; Preserve links, permissions, comments, and relationships after moving content. When managing many projects, doing these actions manually takes too much time, and teams often cannot complete the work on schedule. AI assistants should be able to perform these operations safely after user approval. Please improve the API and AI capabilities so ClickUp can support bulk organization, moving, creation, deletion, and folder customization. This would make ClickUp much more useful for large teams and project-based workflows.

Description: I would like the ability to apply a secondary grouping in ClickUp views based on the order of the status flow. For example, after grouping tasks by a primary criterion (e.g., assignee or priority), I want to further group them by status in the exact order defined in the task status workflow, rather than alphabetically. This would help maintain consistency with our workflow and improve task organization. Search in Subtask Name (within the selected List)

Service businesses organize work around people (clients), not projects. Every folder I create is named after a client. Every list inside it is a job for that client. But ClickUp has no native way to attach structured contact information (name, phone, email, address, photos) to a Folder in a way that displays prominently and links all jobs to that person. Current workarounds (all clunky): Pasting contact info into folder/list descriptions (unstructured, not searchable) Creating a separate "Clients" list and using Relationship fields (adds clicks, doesn't display at the folder level) Putting client info in a pinned task (a task isn't a person) What I need: A "Contact" or "Client" record type that can be attached to a Folder. It should have structured fields (name, phone, email, address, photo) and display visibly as a header when viewing that folder's contents. All Lists inside that folder would inherit the client association.
