I've added this a couple of times, but as the team continues to use Clickup, there is a lot of items missing in tracking and forecasting. I've tried all the widgets but ideally this is what I need: for any given month (and possibly other time frames): a list of projects containing how much time was logged on that project by assignee or resource a list of resources containing how much time they logged on each project they worked on

Currently Ai agents cannot see the time tags and notes within the time tracked. If the agents could access, they would be able to summarize, action, and provide reports on time spent.

I am a daily user of ClickUp and heavily rely on your time-tracking features. I would love to submit a feature request for the Windows 11 desktop app. It would be incredibly helpful to see the active time-tracking status directly on the Windows 11 taskbar. Specifically, I am proposing: Live Timer Display: The ability to see the running clock time on the taskbar icon or thumbnail preview. Status Badge: A visual indicator (like a red dot) on the ClickUp taskbar icon to show at a glance when a timer is actively running. This would eliminate the need to keep the full app open just to verify if a timer is active, significantly improving productivity and time-tracking accuracy.

Hello! For a better time verification process, it would be great if the grade field were mandatory (if billable). With that, we know what the activity is.

We are running into an issue where we would like to track time at the Space level, rather than at the task level. Not everything we do during a workday is listed in ClickUp. Because of this, we would like to simply log a number of hours directly to a Space, which in our case represents a client. At the moment, if the work is not already in ClickUp, we first have to create a task. This creates a new open task with no assignee and no deadline. On top of that, we then also have to manually mark the task as complete afterward. This could be much simpler if it were possible to track hours directly on a Space, without needing to link the time entry to a task. As a marketing agency, we want to understand how many hours we spend per week per client, meaning per Space. Tracking this only at task level is almost impossible to ask from our team members in practice.

At the moment the Timesheets tool only shows for tasks that have not been archived. It would be great if we could have the option to include archived tasks within this. That way we can keep our account super clean but still get the data that we need.

I'm part of a small development team and we love ClickUp because it offers many features in one place, including AI usage practically everywhere — it's truly great! After a few days of use, however, we noticed that it has a major limitation for a feature that is fundamental to us: time tracking. For us, it's essential to be able to track time for each task and add a description for each entry logged. From what I understand, on our plan ($7/user/month), this is only possible for 40 uses, after which we are blocked from adding notes tied to an individual time track entry. Would it be possible to include in the "Basic Time Tracking" tier at least the ability to add notes to each time track entry? As far as I can tell, this feature currently falls under the advanced ones, but upgrading to the Business or even Enterprise level just to be able to add a description to each time track entry seems excessive and too costly for us. Description: Since a recent updates, the Start Date & Due Date variable now includes the time zone (ie. Oct 3 2025, 5:00PM (America/Los_Angeles)) in addition to the date and time. Previously, the Due Date displayed only the date and time, which was much cleaner. This is causing confusion, as the time zone is unnecessary for our use case and makes the emails look cluttered and confusing since the events are location based. Expected Behavior: The Due Date should display as it did previously (date or date + time, without appending the time zone). At minimum, there should be a formatting option to choose whether to display the time zone. Impact: Confuses recipients who don’t understand or care about time zones. Creates extra support questions for our team. Reduces the professional readability of automated emails. Request: Please revert this change or give admins the ability to choose the display format.

I would like to be able to set the estimated time for a number of my tasks at one time.

When moving a issue, the billable/non-billable flag is altered based on the default of the space. This means moving a issue (even within a space) looses the actual billable-status! Support flagged this as 'feature request' in cases #2542645 #2563395, seems to be a bug if you ask me.
