Every chat channel should have an email address for forwarding emails to it automatically. One of my use cases on Slack is an OTP channel which receives forwarded emails with OTP codes. Need to have a way to replicate this in ClickUp Chat.

Problem: Channels in the sidebar appear to sort randomly or by recent activity, making it impossible to maintain any logical organization. I've tried naming channels with numbers (01_, 02_, etc.), letters (a_, b_, c_), and other prefixes, but they still rearrange unpredictably every time there's new activity. Requested Solution: Add the ability to create collapsible channel groups/sections in the sidebar (like Slack and Discord have), such as: DAILY (containing standup, check-ins) PROJECTS (containing different project channels) ADMIN (containing HR, onboarding, announcements) Minimum Viable Fix: At the very least, allow manual channel ordering that STAYS fixed regardless of activity, or add a pin/favorite feature to keep important channels at the top. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Ability to archive or delete channels in case where they were made by mistake, for example, when: A similar channel already existed and we want to delete this one. The chat channel was created with the wrong group of people or in the wrong space.

Currently, you are not able to intuitively tag all those in a channel using an @all or @channel handle. The need for this is to maintain consistency in usage to slack, teams, zoom chat - in regards to the methodology of notifying the entire channel of a comment.

Would love the ability to create a Chat Channel like in Slack where it doesn't have to be linked to a Folder or List – or when creating a new Channel it doesn't automatically create a new List.

When the call is done, it would be amazing to get a highlevel summary/action plan and full transcription (similar to how rewind.ai does it) tied to the users name from the call as part of the thread post call. This would be amazing for quickly creating tasks and flows post call.

I don't know if someone started a SyncUp with me or in a Chat I am part of, because I don't receive a notification or pop-up with sound.

Syncups can be great for bringing a remote team closer together. But getting people to start them more often requires incentivising them. Most people don't start syncups in the first place, because they don't believe someone will join. By showing that a syncup not only "happened" but actually highlighting that there was multiple people on it you are changing the perceived "risk reward" profile of starting a syncup from "oh probably nobody will join and I'm the stupid person who started it" to "oh, other people synced up, this actually works".

The ability to create custom emojis for a workspace that can be used in Chat.

The ability to schedule sending messages later. This includes sending it later in relative time (e.g. in two hours) or absolute time (eg. 2pm tomorrow).
