Currently time tracking can only trigger a certain range of time to be done, not simply start it. Would love to have a Start Timer as an Action, e.g. have time tracking when moved to In Progress list..

Please add multi-file support to the File Custom Field and fix the freezing issue. Currently: Uploading the first file works fine. Uploading a file into a second File Custom Field (or trying to replace a file) causes the task UI to freeze. The main Attachment area works correctly, but File Custom Fields create UI conflicts. This limitation makes it impossible to use File Custom Fields for workflows where users must upload more than one document (e.g., passport + registration screenshot). Requested Improvements: Allow File Custom Fields to support multiple file uploads, OR Allow replacing a file without freezing the task, OR Fix the conflict when multiple File Custom Fields exist on the same task. This feature is critical for teams collecting multiple documents through structured custom fields. Thanks!

Add the feature to define hours as billable based on the type of task set. This way, the estimate can act as a budget and the logged hours as a sort of pre-invoicing.

Having the ability to "Pause" the timer would be incredibly helpful for a business like ours. We have many video projects that we utilize ClickUp for, and our editors edit and upload for review and then sometimes we require revisions and having the ability for the timer to pause and then continue at a later date would be incredibly useful.

Can't add due date 12 hours from now, or 6 hours from now, etc

I am much more productive when using a countdown timer because it gives me a sense of urgency to complete my current task before time is up. When I get distracted, I see/hear the timer ticking and redirect my focus back to where it should be. I currently use a Mac app from the App Store along with stickies to accomplish an event countdown timer but would like to see this included as part of ClickUp. It would be a plus if this timer could also be a separate app that shows on top of all windows when my calendar is hidden. Playing ticking sounds or productive soundtracks like those found on brain.fm would also be very beneficial.

I would love to have an overview over the billable hours.

At the moment, in ClickUp you can get a summary of the total time spent for a task with subtasks, but it is not possible to preview or report the total time worked on a task with subtasks + times from tasks in relation to it. I ask you to add such a possibility so that you can track the time spent on, for example, some “main project” at a time with side tasks on other lists, for example, other teams that have to keep records of tasks on their lists, and the entire task was dedicated to the “main project” to which it is linked only by a relation.

Description: Since a recent updates, the Start Date & Due Date variable now includes the time zone (ie. Oct 3 2025, 5:00PM (America/Los_Angeles)) in addition to the date and time. Previously, the Due Date displayed only the date and time, which was much cleaner. This is causing confusion, as the time zone is unnecessary for our use case and makes the emails look cluttered and confusing since the events are location based. Expected Behavior: The Due Date should display as it did previously (date or date + time, without appending the time zone). At minimum, there should be a formatting option to choose whether to display the time zone. Impact: Confuses recipients who don’t understand or care about time zones. Creates extra support questions for our team. Reduces the professional readability of automated emails. Request: Please revert this change or give admins the ability to choose the display format.
