Description:
Since a recent updates, the Start Date & Due Date variable now includes the time zone (ie. Oct 3 2025, 5:00PM (America/Los_Angeles)) in addition to the date and time. Previously, the Due Date displayed only the date and time, which was much cleaner.
This is causing confusion, as the time zone is unnecessary for our use case and makes the emails look cluttered and confusing since the events are location based.
Expected Behavior:
The Due Date should display as it did previously (date or date + time, without appending the time zone). At minimum, there should be a formatting option to choose whether to display the time zone.
Impact:
Confuses recipients who don’t understand or care about time zones.
Creates extra support questions for our team.
Reduces the professional readability of automated emails.
Request:
Please revert this change or give admins the ability to choose the display format.
