It would be great if we can add a third column in the My Work/My Tasks section, really frustrating to have all that dead space and not be able to use it effectively.

I've just switched to Clickup 4.0. In the "my work" > "today" view it's showing tasks where the date range spans/includes today's date, rather than tasks which are simply due today. Whilst i can potentially understand the reason for this, it makes it feel cluttered and hard to see at a glance what items & how many, are actually due today Other groupings currently include: * "next" (when the start date has not yet been reached) * "overdue" and * "unscheduled" As a result, I'd like to suggest a new grouping called "Due soon". The "Due soon" grouping would show - for example - any task with X working days remaining. Users could set X based on the project requirements. For example, for large projects this could be set to 5 days, whereas for fast moving projects, this could be set to 1 day). This would mean that "Today" grouping could then be set to just show items due today only. I know we can effectively achieve the above via "All tasks" and setting up filters, but given the "My Task" view in 4.0 exists, it feels like this could make for a great addition to really help improve clarity around the most important tasks - those due today or fast approaching their due date.

At the moment when looking at your task priorities, we can see the task name and we can show the list it belongs to. Unfortunately though it doesn't show us any more than that so when we have lots of lists with the same name (for example: Paid Ads), we can't see what client it belongs to without hovering over the list name. It would be great if we could add in a custom field column here (for example we have a Client dropdown custom field) OR have the ability to show not just the list but the folder too.

I am really liking the LineUp feature and use it to help create a shortlist of what I should be focusing on for my day. However, tasks marked as done currently still show in the LineUp which means I have to do in and remove them manually. That's an extra click that could be saved if tasks marked as done were automatically removed from the lineup!

Why does Home now have its own sidebar that includes Spaces, Chats, All Tasks etc., but then those same locations/menus are repeated in the main sidebar RIGHT BESIDE the Home sidebar? Home needs to be more focused. Why would I want All Spaces and All Tasks listed in my curated Home page? I should leave the focused Home to the broader Spaces/Everything to access outside information. This new UI is going to be super confusing for my older users that want one straightforward way to access each item and don't want to have to customize three different menus to get a working layout. The default interface needs to be WAAYYYY simpler. It was still confusing me after a day, and I'm good with software navigation.

It's great that the inbox has everything that was assigned to me, however, I'd also want some functionality to help me manage all the tasks and comments I assigned to others so that I can keep track of their progress. Now, I can use dashboard to keep track of tasks that I assign to other people, however, I can't keep track of comments that I assigned to other people.

There is one Productivity Principle that all great Projectmanagent Tools are not considering even my favorite Tool ClickUp, and after studying Productivity for over 15 Years now I believe that this is the most important Productivity Principle: You are only one single Person, with only one Brain, and have only 24 hours a day. 👤 🧠 📆 That is why you need only one Calendar and One Place with ALL your Tasks/Appointments/Projects/Goals across all Workspaces/Tools, without the need to switch the Workspaces & Tools back and forth to see everything that is important to you. Unfortunately, most Projectmangement Tools are linking the Home/My Task/My Calendar Area to one single Workspace, but it doesn't show you your tasks from all other Workspaces. So you always need to switch back and forth... 😩 I asked Asana for so many years to consider this most important productivity Principle, and separate the "MyTasks Area" from Workspaces, but nope they never did it and I also never got an answer to that request. Please ClickUp I hope you will finally make this true that there is only ONE Home Area across all Workspaces. 🙏 Create a Projectmanagement Tool always from the perspective of the End User's Productivity. #productivity #projectmanagement

Allow the user, when invited, and before joining a third-party workspace, to edit their name (also include a nickname field) and their position (this could also be edited by an administrator). Ex: I can join a project where I am known by my Discord nickname, or a forum nickname. Or I may not want to reveal my full name to one organization, but in others I may want to do it differently.

Being able to reduce the number of tasks you need to sift through to start your day would be amazing! Allow filtering by custom fields, tags, etc.
