TL;DR * I would love to have multiple lists which MIRRORS THE TASKS (and automations) in both at all times across both lists, but with the ability to have different views + custom field setups. * if task is added to one list, it mirrors into both lists automatically. * BOTH Lists are treated as the HOME LIST - it's just different views/field customisations, and accessible from the SIDEBAR - kind of like a "phantom list" of sorts * ultimately, i'm just looking for a way to easily separate all my different list "views" (not just grouping by view type), without complicated automations * At the moment we can move a list view to "Favourites", OR, we can move Docs to any space/folder in the SIDEBAR - I'm seeking something similar to Docs->Side but for VIEWS and with more functionality - not just 'pointing' back to the original list location and all it originally has to offer. Longer version: I often create several different views within one list to organise data in different ways, and it is getting messy. My current workaround is when a list starts having too many views, I create a second list, create different "view settings" in each, and automate tasks to appear in both lists - but this is cumbersome and prone to errors depending on how data finds its way into the original list (and also requires me to work in only "one list" when entering in new data, otherwise it won't quickly/easily filter into both lists, since "lists" are treated as separate data sets). Repeating this setup for different lists/projects is getting tiring. I would love the ability to either: (A) easily duplicate a LIST and have it "mirror" the TASKS + VIEWS that were originally inside the first list (i.e. the tasks are not just duplicated/copied over as standalone, separate tasks- they automatically appear in BOTH lists similar to "add task to list" feature). Perhaps you could choose "Add to/Move to" and decide where the tasks stay as their parent/home base list, OR, if the list lives in EITHER LIST using this feature, BOTH lists are technically considered the "Home" (and the other list is just a phantom list). And from there, you can CUSTOMISE THE VIEWS in each 'list'; the data and automations remain the same, and any updates to tasks/custom fields will mirror across both lists, but ultimately the lists are SEPARATE in terms of List Name, moveability in the space/folder/sidebar, and, customisation of the views. alternatively, (B) The ability to simply MOVE AND ADD a specific custom view (from within a specific list) to appear on the SIDEBAR - as a clickable Sidebar item that takes you directly to that specific LIST + VIEW (including all the tasks). I am aware we can Right click a specific List "view" and add it as a Favourite - but this is limited as well from what I am trying to achieve, as this just points to the original list (containing all the views), and is only in Favourites. We do have the ability to MOVE a DOC TO either: * Task * List, Folder, or Space (as a view) * Sidebar <--- We cannot do this with "Views" - when you right click you can "move a view" from a LIST to ANOTHER LIST, i.e. "List, Folder, or Space (as a view)" - but this does not move the data inside - it only transfers the Lists' view features/filters, but NOT the content itself.
