Feature Requests

Today, ClickUp supports one level of subfolders inside a Folder. Teams with deep organizational structures (agencies managing client → project → workstream, enterprises mirroring department → division → team, construction companies tracking program → site → phase) are forced to either flatten their hierarchy into naming conventions or spin up extra Spaces as a workaround. We'd like the ability to nest subfolders at least 2–5 levels deep so workspaces can mirror real-world org structures without sacrificing a clean, navigable sidebar.

I want the option to remove 'closed' statuses. Sometimes, I have lists that I never want to close. This makes sense when we have a list of things that are routinely processed through a workflow, but when they're done, they need to go back to the resting place in the first status until they're processed again.

Add a setting in the list/view options which allows the settings of a list to be copied and automatically updated from a list in another view. e.g. A list view of a folder, which is inside a space, could be set to copy, or "inherit", any settings from the list view of the everything tab.

As a Product Owner, prioritizing tasks is crucial. Working on a list and identifying whether an item is deprioritized or not makes the "Move to Bottom" and "Move to Top" buttons very handy. Support has mentioned this was removed from 2.0, it would be nice to revive this feature. Cheers! Jops

I found this s/s from awhile back. Interesting timing, as I'm craving a simpler version of C/Up! It's getting too cluttery, too complex for me. Do you have to do 'everything'? or could you stop somewhere? Please note the title of the list. Could we get that back? A big title for the list, standing out so you know what list you're on? Please, please, pretty please?

We use ClickUp as an Agency and every client has a space with several folders in it. In at least two folders there is a list for every month. Now I have to go to every folder individually to create new lists for each month, like 'December 2020'. It would be great if I only had to create the 'December 2020' list once and then add it to multiple folders. At the moment you can already select a location when you create a list (see screenshot), but you can't select multiple locations. I would love to have the option to select multiple locations at once. That would make the world more productive!

Similar to screenshots below where one can create a github issue from a task, which will automatically link/sync or Link existing

Will we be able to set custom order of folders and folderless lists? Right now it's not possible to place a folderless list above a folder. It's counterintuitive and doesn't allow to customize the workflow. Pretty please :)

This would be useful when there are a lot of custom fields in an item and by default you just want to select a few to show when you open the task/item view. See an example from notion
