Currently if one task was assigned to multiple assignee, this group of assignee will become an "assignee" to show with other single assignee, this is good for tasks, however this is not good to see the task load for each assignee, I would like to have a option to group by only single assignee, even some of the assignee may have the same task.

It would be very useful if, when a status filter is applied in Gantt view (for example, Status is not Closed/Complete) and subtasks are displayed as Separate, closed or completed subtasks were hidden.

Can you add more options to the time tracked filter in all areas: Time tracked by a specific user Time tracked during a specific time frame: this month, last month and custom

It would be extremely valuable for the entire ClickUp community to have a filter that allows users to identify tasks where time tracked was added after a specific date (or within a defined time range). Currently, analysis is limited to task creation or last update dates, which often do not reflect when the work was actually performed. In practice, this creates significant distortions: a task created months ago may receive time entries recently, and that effort cannot be accurately isolated or analyzed using the existing filters. Introducing this filter would represent a major improvement in time tracking and reporting, enabling: Clear visibility into work actually performed within a specific period More accurate audits of logged hours Easier identification of operational bottlenecks and rework Reliable productivity analysis by time range Better decision-making based on real execution data For companies that take time management, team performance, and process optimization seriously, this filter would not just be a nice-to-have feature: it would be essential. It would significantly expand ClickUp’s analytical capabilities, aligning the platform with the real-world needs of teams that rely on precise time data to improve continuously. This feature would further strengthen ClickUp as a comprehensive work management platform, not only organizing tasks, but accurately reflecting when the work actually happens.

I would like to be able to group tasks by start date as well as due date. Thx

Let’s say I have 2 tasks. The first task has a status Active and the second task has a status Inactive. Both tasks have various subtasks. I would like to go to Everything, turn on “Show subtasks as separate items” and tell the filter to: show me only subtasks that have a parent task with Active status. Of course, the Status should not be the only criterion, I may need Priority, Due date, etc. This will give me the ability to use tasks more like actual sub-projects. I’m not sure if this has already been requested here: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/filter-tasks-by-parent-task , as I could not really understand that request. Fell free to merge this suggestion if this is the case.

At the moment we are unable to use the time period that time was tracked as a filter for dashboards. This is really crucial to the way that we work and need to be able to report on. For example, we would love to create a task list where it has time tracked is This Month, last month, this week, last week etc. Then be able to use that across the other dashboard widgets like bar charts etc.

When we're trying to make views that are specific and useful for a particular group of users (in the example artists) we can't use our project, which is a big template created in chronological order of the tasks that need to be completed to, display subtasks when they are displayed as "expanded". The only way to make them appear is to display subtasks as separate tasks, but that completely breaks our project view and makes it much less interesting for the project manager and the users. In the images below you can see our set up with two of the tasks displaying all of their subtasks in the "expanded" display mode. Then you can see what happens when I apply a filter, they all disappear. In the third image you can see the same view with the Subtasks displayed as separate tasks, but it's less useful as you no longer see the hierarchy of the tasks.

We have had issues where some of our users have created mass amounts of duplicates at some points and to find/merge them is extremely time consuming and tedious, with very little certainty that you found them all. It's easy to spot one, you can run a search for the name, or filter for a specific field and see the duplicate versions of one task, however when you have to do this for hundreds or thousands, it's not an easy or quick experience. A filter upgrade may be a way to change this. For example, we have a ID custom field that is used for all tasks that are specific task type. It's a numerical value. If there was a filter option to select that custom field, and select an operator like "is duplicate" which would look for more than one value of that field to be present, then we could easily see a list of the tasks that are duplicate versions, and go through to merge them. One step further, would be a merge options for duplicates, to save the manual effort of going selecting each pairing to merge.

Extend the filter functionality to support the option "tasks in personal priority (pp)/lineup". So you could also create a list for your whole workspace, filter all your PP tasks and manage them there.
