Please knock this out. This request is approaching 5 years old. For things like invoicing this is critical for our accounting team to be able to organize when an invoice should go out vs. when it is truly due. Thank you.

How can this take such a long time to implement? It's a native field - Due Date is the date by which the task has to be completed, Start date could be used to show the time span or when it should be worked on

Many tasks span several days, and therefore, I'd like to group tasks on a board or whatever view by start date.

Need this! Tasks cards in the dashboard should show me what to do today- not what is due today.

Could be if the List Due Date was actually usable. Right now, I have a master list of various task types that are added to their given Milestone list so I can at least track them together. Each Milestone list has a due date, but... that's about it. I don't see what use the List due date is: can't see it in the Gannt view, the tasks included in the list are not remapped if the list dates change, etc.

Essentially, I want a way to batch remap tasks that are not necessarily subtasks, templated, or linked w/o dependency.

100% support this request. It facilities filtering even in the home view

This would be my ADHD dream! The only way I stay sane is to have a view of my tasks listed out for each day of a given week (Sunsama and TeuxDeux are the only task lists that allow this, but ClickUp is working well enough too). Right now I use the Board view, sorted by Due Date. But allowing sort by Start Date would let me SEE when something is due, but use the start date to place the task on the actual day I want to work on it.

Very critical for our agency. Please prioritize thank you :D
