In tracking something like a cruise, or an event that covers some period of time, the Due Date is the Start Date, most important for sorting coming events in date order. But if the Due Date is only available as the End Date, this isn't very useful for many use cases. Can you allow us to set either the Start Date or End Date as the Due Date to accommodate both use cases?

Yes, grouping by Start Date is essential to work. Please add urgently!

When choosing "Start date" as a grouping filter, only an empty "Start date" field is provided as an option. However the actual starting dates of our tasks are automatically assigned to a different "start date" field, not available as a filter option.

Grouping tasks by Create Date and particularly looking at the month created as well. I'm currently using dropdowns as a fix. If anyone knows a way to do this better and automate that would be great

Please knock this out. This request is approaching 5 years old. For things like invoicing this is critical for our accounting team to be able to organize when an invoice should go out vs. when it is truly due. Thank you.

How can this take such a long time to implement? It's a native field - Due Date is the date by which the task has to be completed, Start date could be used to show the time span or when it should be worked on

Many tasks span several days, and therefore, I'd like to group tasks on a board or whatever view by start date.

Need this! Tasks cards in the dashboard should show me what to do today- not what is due today.
