Up until August 19th, the sticky table of contents in the right-hand column was expanded by default. With the latest release, it collapses and is not visible until you click it. Requiring additional clicks to accomplish what took none in the past is not a feature we should be forced into.

Ability to create a contract or agreement in a Clickup Doc with a signature area to send for signing.

I’ve noticed that when I try to add a multi-line code block (using triple backticks) inside a table cell in ClickUp Docs, the code block does not render correctly. Instead, it appears as plain text or breaks the formatting of the table. This makes it difficult to document technical information that requires both tabular data and formatted code snippets. Inline code (single backticks) works for short snippets, but there is currently no way to display longer, multi-line code blocks within table cells. Can you improve this?

Enable ClickUp Docs (or Doc Templates) to include {{placeholders}} that auto-merge values from the current task or via automation (both default fields and Custom Fields). From any task, users select Generate Doc from Template, and ClickUp resolves placeholders into a new Doc attached to that task. This is not MS Word templating; it’s native ClickUp Docs merge. Automations could also trigger when to apply the task details to the {{placeholders}} template (status changes, updates, buttons, etc.)

It would be really helpful if we could move existing documents to nested subpages. This would go a long way to making document re-organization simpler.

It looks like tables in docs have been slightly improved - https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/improve-tables-in-docs-big-time . However, still big improvements are needed: * Background color * Header formatting * More column width control * Cell merging * Center align tables * They still look ugly * ... I could go on and on At the very least implement something like Typora has - more control, more formatting options and rendering is quite good for markdown tables.

Synced blocks enclose any section of text/images/etc. that can then be copied elsewhere and can be edited in multiple locations and it updates everywhere. For example, if I write out a goal that I want to keep in front of me, I can add it to all relevant docs and task descriptions and if I make changes to it, it'll update everywhere else as well.

In a list, you can filter by a certain relationship. However, if you embed a list in a doc, there is no option to filter in the same way, by relationship. The option simply doesn't show. It would be great to have that functionality in Docs. Our use case is that we want to a doc that is say a campaign summary and includes views of tasks from different departmental lists in the workspace filtered to show only tasks relevant to that campaign. 1st screenshot is from a list, showing the relationships as options to filter by. 2nd screenshot is in a doc, where the filter does not show relationships as an option. (ps. I guess a few other types of fields also dont work to filter by in the embedded list too)

Thank you for v2. So many improvements to an already great app :) I would like to request that you please consider adding latex (math typesetting) to docs (and comments?). Maybe via https://www.mathjax.org/ or other (dropbox have a nice implementation as well in their new "Dropbox Paper"). Ideally, this could be a setting to be enabled per user so that text surrounded with '$' (or '$$' for an equation line) will be rendered by the math engine (i.e. mathjax). Thank you!

when i want to write a document do compare 2 videos, i'd like to list the to vertical video side by side using 2 columns. but it seems the video file embeding is not suitable for columns
