Search and replace for docs
Basil Weibel
It can happen that for example marketing terminology changes. Currently you cannot search and replace in clickup docs. So this would be useful.

Finance Mgr et al: And in WordStar even before that! (Initial release 1978 per Wikipedia) 🙂
Seriously, dear readers at Clickup: This is a major deficiency. And, I'm a big fan of the Document features you _have_ implemented. Sure it would be nice to have a little more flexibility with some things like choice of font. But part of me is pleased that I _don't_ have to think about that at all, and can just keep writing!
Please fix this as soon as you can!

The Find/Replace function has been available in Microsoft Word since the very early versions of the software, 1987.
This seems like such a blatantly obvious requirement. Certainly supported by the number of requests here in the Feature Request forums

Even if we start ONLY with Search/Replace within 1 doc, that would be a fantastic start. Based on most comments here, and my own humble opinion, this is a very base-level feature that would save enormous time. Given your numerous other power features in Search across all spaces/lists/etc., please escalate this into a near future release. And thanks.

Please add - you have almost everything else covered :-)

At the very least, we need the ability to search a word on the doc and just through each instance.

any updates on this?

I've just switched back to Google Docs because Clickup docs still don't have a search feature.

Looking forward to this feature!!!! If we want Clickupall-in to be an all in tool, we need features like these for us to use it more.

I just put the wrong date in about 20 places in a document and have to manually change 8/18/24 to 9/18/24. Please add a Find and Replace.
MacWrite on my Mac had this in 1984. That's 40 years ago, folks.
Even if there's complexities with F&R across multiple Spaces or multiple Docs, adding it within a doc would be 90% of what I think we all need.
