Feature Requests

While clicking on a cell, currently to change a cell data, for eg if it is a money value field, once I click the cell, again I have to do ctrl + A to select all data, then I want to add new data into the cell. It would be great if you can include this feature ie when I click the cell, automatically Clickup should auto select all data. Then I can directly type and update the value. The other tools have it so I find it really difficult to update data one by one by pressing ctrl+A.

Hi ClickUp! Our team is using CU for task management. We encounter many pending in our work and wanted to track them in CU as well, such as creating drop-downs. However, we have multiple pending notes that need to be input into the dropdown. It might be confusing if we create multiple dropdowns. It would be very helpful if you could develop multiple selection in the dropdown. Thank you so much!

When using table view it's severely limited. You don't have all the same views available to you. Would like liked documents to show up. Also, we should add a field of "Add linked whiteboard" The use case here is creating a process accountability chart. A table that lists all the core business functions by representatives. We want to relate docs, whiteboards, tasks, clips, ets. Having just a url link is not as nice as the linked doc feature.

The task tables. Could you please make the printing function better to PDF - where can print as much or as little information as possible. One thing about Airtable for example is the awesome print features. There is ruled and boxed and nicely presented information from the tables - which can be sent as PDF or printed straight off. Having a PDF of the task lists and information allows for emailing or archival - it would be good if could print to pdf and save (like my scanner does) to a folder in google drive. At the moment you export view is CSV and XLSX - this requires more work in another off clickup software. Why cant i just print to PDF the tables for download or sharing or saving to eg. gdrive. thanks

It would be great if you could enable multiple layers of grouping, specifically in Table views, so that we could have a view similar to the ones that can be made with Airtable. For example, assume there is a database of SOPs, listed as tasks. I want to group them by the Service they explain and additionally group the tools used in the process.

Table view would be much more valueable, if you could copy/paste in all fields. Today it only works in the task name. Also copy/pasting multiple fields at a time, would be great, ie. you copy the status from one task and then select multiple other tasks and paste the status into all the tasks at once. In my mind the table view should work more or less like an excel sheet in order to add value and speed to the process of editing tasks.

Reducing column width to a minimum, as in Excel.

This capability to select and act upon a large group of tasks was removed in March 2025. I can't imagine why. Now you have to click every task box in the range to select them. Tedious.

allow in Table view to Wrap text no matter what Custom field it is

As of a few days ago, all the task names in the Table and Gantt view are now preceded by a colored status button that doesn't appear to do anything. This dead button needs to go. I already show the task status in a separate column (in Table view). A redundant static button making the task name harder to read is just an annoyance. This is especially true in dark mode, which I use because of vision problems. My status column is already a distracting neon sign in a dark room shouting in ALL CAPS. The new status buttons just add to the noise and the clutter. I should be able to turn them off.
