It would be awesome to have a hotkey for the new calendar feature.

When writing the task title, be able to include commands like /due date::2025-01-01, /tag::redflag, or /priority::hi, and have the task created with the corresponding fields automatically filled.

While inside List views, I'd like to retain my ability to use my browser's native CTRL + F functionality when trying to locate text on this page. There is already functionality in CU for filtering by keywords which is Ctrl + K. There's no need to also incorporate that into CTRL + F which is a commonly used native browser keyboard shortcut.

Notepad would be a lot more useful if we could have a global shorcut to open a new note in the notepad as a floating panel, from anywhere, just like the global search shortcut. Kortex app has this feature and while simple, it is a real game changer to capture ideas as they come.

When adding content to fields (e.g. descrition) (but also to names and the like), it would be helpful to be able to insert the current date, date and time into documents using a shortcut or some specific short command.

it would be really nice to have a /slash command to quickly add the (today) date in a document or task description. A choice between different date formats (dd/mm, yy/dd/mm, dd/mmm/yyy) would be the top.

Managing task statuses in ClickUp currently requires multiple clicks, which can disrupt workflow and slow down productivity. This is especially problematic for high-volume users or workflows with automation-heavy setups. Proposed Features: Customisable Shortcuts : Allow users to assign specific shortcuts for each status (e.g., Ctrl + 1 for "To Do," Ctrl + D for "Done"). Quick Mark as Done/Closed : Provide a default shortcut to mark tasks as "Done" (press once) or "Closed" (press twice). Cycle Through Statuses : Introduce an optional shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + E ) to cycle through statuses sequentially for simpler workflows. Why This is Needed Speed : Reduces the time spent clicking dropdowns to update statuses. Precision : Prevents accidental automation triggers when cycling through unwanted statuses. Flexibility : Enhances workflow efficiency for diverse user needs. Benefits Streamlined task updates. Adaptability for automation-heavy workflows. Improved speed and user experience. This feature would save time, enhance precision, and make ClickUp more intuitive for users at all levels.

When I'm in a sprint and I want to search for a word, I press ctrl+f which is the browser default shortcut for the browser search function, but it opens the Clickup search instead. But if I use the Clickup search I won't always find what I'm looking for. Example: I want to search for a person in the list/sprint. Clickup search will return 'nothing found' even though the person is listed there.

Apparently Ctrl+Shift+C should be binded to both showing/hiding doc stats and to starting/ending an inline-code section in text-editor. Pressing Ctrl+Shift+C while typing in editor only shows/hides the doc stats without doing anything pertaining to formatting text as inline-code. Either rebind doc stats to a different shortcut key or at least make it do both at the same time.
