Using AI to import company data into a wiki via a link from your website could help streamline creating a company wiki, thus eliminating the need to add every category to your company wiki. Especially if you have a large set of subcategories.

We are testing ClickUp as a project management tool and evaluating the import process for Monday boards. While importing boards, screenshots from activities in Monday are not being transferred to corresponding comments in ClickUp. Instead, the screenshots appear as attachments, but they lack timestamp associations. I’ve also noticed that PDF attachments are not posted in the corresponding updates; instead, only the file names are displayed. It would be great if the files could be made available in the corresponding updates. Maintaining the link between screenshots / files and comments with timestamps or in the corresponding update is critical to us. It would be great if there were a solution to ensure the import retains these connections.

I am looking to move my Development Team's task management over to ClickUp from Linear, but need to transfer all historic and existing Issues linked to GitHub so as to keep track of them all. Can this be done? I see no existing Import section for Linear.

It would be nice to be able to import dates from Excel spreadsheets without a time being added as default (4am). If there was a checkbox when importing that would be helpful. Alternatively, there could be an option on date custom fields where you could enable/disable the time section, so only dates could be added. Also being able to bulk delete a time from multiple date fields without affecting dates could be another option. It can be worked around, just would be cleaner without the times. Thanks!

I would like to be able to import file names as tasks (ideally in sync). We are working more and more with ClickUp. However, the fact remains that several of our elements are other software. For example in architecture we have banks of 3D objects. It is difficult to track the status and progress of each element. By importing the names, I could then create a variety of custom fields to follow their evolution and improvement. Currently, I can easily extract the folder list and copy paste into clickup manually with a few steps. At the very least, I would like tasks with duplicate names to be detectable so as not to repeat the same thing twice. Or even better, synchronize it with a folder that if it changes, it is added to the list, or if an item is removed, a custom field changes for example “Outdated”.

The tables exported to Excel are not complete, it is not possible to create a backup of our tables, or to be able to recover them. Tables cannot be exported with formulas and all fields.

For those of us who'd like to move our Evernote data over to ClickUp, the only practical way possible to do that would be adding the ability for ClickUp to import (and optimally, export as well) .enex. files. The current limitation of only being able to import html means we can't bring Evernote notebooks over intact.

Currently you cannot import using the ClickUp mobile app. You can import using the web, however the web is not mobile friendly (it's awful). This means you should have a separate computer to import data into ClickUp, which is awkward as you may not have a computer (mobiles rule! 😁) or you simply don't wish to start up the computer to run this specific task. Since most of the import functionality happens behind the scenes (on the ClickUp servers) it seems trivial to add the import option into the mobile app.

I'd love to see an option to assign task type in an import using the native import cells. We are a payroll company and use task type as markers for which clients need reminders to submit their hours, based on which employee usually reminds them (i.e. task type: Luna's Reminder Clients). It would be great to have a spot to add the task type when importing large schedules.

Allow users to seamlessly copy documents from one ClickUp workspace to another. This feature would enhance productivity by enabling teams to easily share and replicate important documents across different workspaces without manual copying and pasting. It would be particularly beneficial for organizations managing multiple projects or departments in separate workspaces, ensuring consistency and saving time.
