I would love to be able to make custom filter buttons that can be added along the top filters & groups bar, which I can quickly toggle on and off. Yes, we can use filter templates. But that can be a bit slow. Sometimes, I just want to press a quick button to toggle on and off a certain filter that I use frequently (e.g., exclude all tasks with a certain custom label entry, or only show tasks with a certain status), without having to open up the filters panel, browse the various saved filters, and then choose one from the long list of them. This should be custom on a per-view basis, whereas the current filter templates implementation shows all filter templates, regardless of location. Once toggled off, the filters should revert to how they were before toggling on. Mockup attached.

When we're trying to make views that are specific and useful for a particular group of users (in the example artists) we can't use our project, which is a big template created in chronological order of the tasks that need to be completed to, display subtasks when they are displayed as "expanded". The only way to make them appear is to display subtasks as separate tasks, but that completely breaks our project view and makes it much less interesting for the project manager and the users. In the images below you can see our set up with two of the tasks displaying all of their subtasks in the "expanded" display mode. Then you can see what happens when I apply a filter, they all disappear. In the third image you can see the same view with the Subtasks displayed as separate tasks, but it's less useful as you no longer see the hierarchy of the tasks.

Hi ClickUp Team, I’d love to see a dynamic filter option for the “Date created” field in task views. Specifically, I want to filter for tasks that are “more than X days old” (for example, “created more than 180 days ago”), where the filter automatically updates based on the current date. Why this matters: It would allow users to easily surface old or stale tasks without manually updating the filter date every time. This functionality already exists for some other date fields (like “Due date is in the next X days”), but not for “Date created.” It would improve workflow automation, reporting, and backlog management. Workaround attempted: I created a custom field using a formula to dynamically calculate the number of days since each task was created. However, I’m not able to filter tasks based on the value of this formula field, which limits its usefulness for this purpose. Suggested implementation: Add options like “is more than X days ago” or “is older than X days” to the “Date created” filter menu. Allow this filter to be saved in views so it remains dynamic and always up to date. Alternatively, allow filtering on formula fields that calculate date differences. It would be great to create a list view showing all tasks belonging to lists/spaces with a specific list/space owner.

Would be handy to be able to sort by Custom Task ID in list view.

Filters are really great in ClickUp. I would like for it to be possible to pin some based on views. A little like how you can have pinned favorites. This would allow me to reduce the number of views I use and yet be able to quickly switch between ways of categorising the tasks and information! I could be based on various levels of hierarchy as well for teams that need to see things the same way quickly.

I would love to just filter by parent task name in calendar view since my subtasks for each task are all named the same thing (steps in the process). So when I'm working on a specific project, I only want to see the task + subtasks associated with it so I can easily drag and drop to assign dates.

When going through our process we have multiple steps in which there can be multiple personel like code reviewer or quality assurance or someone else who is assigned to a task. I would like to additionaly see the filtering option when adding assignee to the filter was to be able to filter out all tasks where someone was assigned to in some point to be able to better create reports.

I would like to be able to group tasks by start date as well as due date. Thx

Can you add more options to the time tracked filter in all areas: Time tracked by a specific user Time tracked during a specific time frame: this month, last month and custom
