I just had to close my MacBook Pro to cool down, because opening two CU windows in the desktop app led to CPU heating up to 87°C. It is not the first time CU leads to the freeze of the whole system. My laptop is only two years old, it runs smoothly apart from the CU. Is there any chance to optimize the desktop app? Is it something on your roadmap?

Would be very handy to be able to "Popout" any left-side menu item into a new Window (Desktop PWA/Web-App) with maybe a right click -> context menu -> popout in new window. Often times I want to have a chat going on with someone and would love to just popout that chat into a new window so I can navigate away and still have that new window with the chat I was just on. Teams has this feature actually, and I have written similar features in apps I have made. So, I know it would be a very easy implementation and go miles with me and my organization (ex. MS Teams users)

The desktop app now minimizes to the system tray when I hit the x, and I don't see an option to disable this so I have to right click the tray icon to fully close the app. It would be nicer to have a settings option to decide which behavior to use.

I encountered a problem while trying to delete old overdue tasks. These tasks appear at the "My Work" section of the top right corner of the windows desktop app also at the "My Work" card at the home page and they aren't related to any workspace etc. (I know because I tried to delete all wokspaces and the task were there anyway). Yes we have multiple select and bulk delete option if we have tasks under a list view but if we have overdue tasks under "My Work" section you have no option to select all of them at once. You have to delete them one by one. So if you can add multiple selection feature to the My Work section, this will sort out the problem. I hope you will help the users!

For my use case, I want the ClickUp desktop app to open on the chat page. I'm sure others have a different preference - Space; Home; Doc; Inbox etc. It would be a very helpful option.

Please can we have a more descriptive name than "desktop" for the ClickUp installation directory. The name should identify the software that is installed there. How about "ClickUp"? ;-)

We need to be able to have multiple tabs

Objective: To facilitate the user experience with a clearer and more intuitive interface, especially for beginners. Notion: The interface is clean and highly customizable, with a hierarchical organization of pages and subpages. The simplicity and easy navigation make the user experience more intuitive and enjoyable. ClickUp: While robust, ClickUp may seem confusing to new users due to the amount of functionality. A clearer and simplified visual organization could improve usability.
