A new feature automatically changes custom status colors for "better" contrast and there's no way to turn it off. I want to keep the "custom" part of the "custom colors" intact

With ClickUp 3, when a task was mentioned the task's ID or Custom ID were displayed along with the task name and the task type/status emblem. With the introduction of ClickUp 4.0, mentioned tasks now have the status spelled out along with assignee information, but the ID/Custom ID from the mentioned task is no longer displayed. My organization has a OneDrive file structure where the Custom ID of tasks is numeric and directly corresponds to the first characters of a task's folder name, making it easy to search for and index our work. Having the Custom ID display for mentioned tasks helped us quickly reference and look up their files. With the Custom ID no longer displaying for mentioned tasks, the time and navigation required to get related task information has increased for us. Would it be possible for us to get task ID/Custom ID back for mentioned tasks, or the ability to have workplace settings for what is displayed when a task is mentioned?

When I make changes to which Subtask columns I want to see in Task View 3.0 it doesn't seem to save those changes. So if I make changes and close the task, the next time I open it up I have to readd the columns desired (for example time tracking, time estimated, etc.)

I’d like the ability to save multiple workspace UI layout templates or profiles for how ClickUp appears, including ribbon, sidebar, navigation, pinned items, and other interface preferences. Use case: I switch between different modes of work and would like different layouts for each, instead of constantly reconfiguring my workspace manually. Example templates: Campaign operations layout Personal admin layout Reporting/review layout Minimal focus layout This would make context-switching faster and reduce visual clutter. Ideally, users could save, name, duplicate, and switch between layout profiles from workspace or personal settings.

Never asked for this. If others want it, great, but it stresses me out. I don't need those countdowns under my nose all the time for the work I do.

Myself and several others routinely use Gantt charts in presentations, as an example my IT Roadmap, project plans, etc. in our current tool I am able to export the Gantt charts into Excel to better fit them onto the slides they belong on. As I move the organization over to ClickUp we no longer have that option. Are there plans to build this feature in ClickUp?

I'd like to see more color themes with 3.0 or even the chance to choose your own color or enter a hex code if possible.

Is it possible to have more than just light, dark, and auto mode?

In spite of being an emo, the dark mode is actually too dark right now. The old one was better, in my humble and emotive opinion. Thx

Really disappointed we lost a bunch of the personal color themes in Settings (for buttons etc) that had increased my enjoyment of clickup, and disappointed with the options that are left. Please restore the full range of colors you allowed before!
