I want to display a custom field from task A within another task B. To do this, I would like to combine several tasks A with one task B. In the relationship view within task B, I would then like to see the user-defined field of tasks A directly, similar to the standard fields such as priority, responsible, etc.

Currently ClickUp doesn't allow relationships (the custom field type) to live in multiple locations. I have automations created based off a relationship custom field so I can duplicate those automations in a different location.

It would be great to have the ability to create a custom field name for linked tasks and docs. For example, we are linking the people task type to an event but we want to create a "role" custom field to show who is doing what.

You can create custom fields for numbers and text, but having a field that can be a percentage (%) would be helpful.

The objective is to make a custom field mandatory when a task status is Closed. Many of our developers mark tasks as 'Closed' yet don't put any notes on the task to indicate what was done, where it was done, what was deployed to production, etc. It becomes a guessing game if the developer is out and others have to pick up the slack. I've seen several posts about mandatory fields but haven't found one yet that indicates the ability to make a field mandatory when status is changed to closed. Any thoughts on this or am I missing something. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would like to request the ability to create custom fields that are unique to a specific Space within ClickUp, rather than having them available across the entire Workspace. This feature would greatly enhance our ability to organize and manage data more effectively, reducing clutter and improving workflow efficiency. It feels like a basic functionality that would benefit many users. Thank you for considering this request!

Hello, ClickUp team! I would like to share some feedback: The difficulty in deleting custom fields in ClickUp. The process is not intuitive and causes frustration, especially considering that it should be a simple action. It would be great if we could simplify this functionality to improve the user experience. Thank you!

Ability to change the value range of a Progress Custom Field per task without creating a new Custom Field each time. Other software like Mooncamp provides the freedom to adjust the progress-value per task depending on what's needed (in this case for OKRs). E.G. 0 to 5 testers acquired; 0 to 10,000 followers gained; 0 to 500 leads; 0 to 75% CSAT score.

It would be super helpful to have custom field data validation options. For example - I need to collect routing numbers that are exactly 9 digits long, or EIN's that are 9 digits long in a format of XX-XXXXXXX. When someone enters something other than that format it should give them an error message. Excel, and other Task management software have this feature, especially for Form Fields that will be submitted by a number of untrained users. Simply giving them a text field to put in whatever they want gets bad data that constantly has to be cleaned up.
