Currently when a new option is created within a dropdown, a random color is assigned to it. It would aid consistency and save an extra step if one could set a default color for specific dropdowns in the Custom Field Manager. The color could still be manually changed, but any new options created in that dropdown would automatically be assigned a specific color instead of a random one.

You also can't select a color while creating a new dropdown option, so it becomes a second step to search for and change it afterward, which is cumbersome if you have a very long dropdown or the colors happen to be similar (this especially can be extremely difficult for colorblind people).
