Make comment private and share only with selected people.

Currently, every reply in a task's comment thread requires an explicit mention for Brain to receive and respond to the message. Once a user has mentioned Brain and a conversation is underway within the same thread, subsequent replies should automatically be routed to Brain without requiring repeated mentions. This would significantly reduce friction in task-based conversations with Brain, especially when multiple back-and-forth exchanges are needed (e.g., refining subtasks, discussing task details, or iterating on content). The context is already established within the thread, so requiring a manual mention each time feels redundant. Suggested behaviour: After Brain is mentioned once in a comment thread, all subsequent replies within that same thread are automatically delivered to Brain until the user explicitly ends the conversation or a different participant is addressed.

On Frame.io you have the option to annotate using drawings or shapes etc. Would be nice if you could do that here aswell. Comments are already good, but it would be greater with that.

Currently, if I use @Brain to make a request, the reply is not visible from the Activity panel without clicking "reply" to open the threaded reply. This is ineffective. My prompt is visible as the main comment, but it does not typically contain useful information that I want to see when I scan the activity area. Brain's response, the useful information that I prompted, is not visible unless you click into a thread. Because of this, I am not likely to notice it when scanning the activity panel. If possible, I would suggest implementing a way to promote particular replies to be visible with comments in the activity panel. The benefit of a promotion mechanism is that it would give me the freedom to decide when a reply is important enough to show in the activity panel and when it can stay buried in the reply thread. Additionally, a promotion mechanism could be used for important replies that are not from @Brain, giving added flexibility.

Add ability to @@ mention a task in the description & comment via the API/MCP

Because of many depth of tasks, it would be great if comments inside subtasks would also be visible in main task. Maybe with an opt-in/out toggle, similar how it's done in listings with option to see subtasks. The goal is, to have ALL related comments visible within task preview. Currently there is no way to see there are any comments inside subtask and it would be nice to see full activity for task including subtasks/checklists.

Our company works in the games field and most of our products gets printed. We are forced to have the aartist upload a print version in CMYK and a comment version in RGB because when the artists upload a JPEG in the CMYK color space the colors gets all washed out. This looks like a minor issue, but if you have to do that for thousand of images you can understand why this would be a very valuable implementation for our workflow. Hopefully this might help other companies that deal with images have a better experience.

This could be helpful for all kinds of workers, but especially those with anxiety or neurodivergence. I would request that the pop-up/notification that reads "You were mentioned by..." is changed to "Everyone was mentioned by..." when @Everyone is used in a message. For neurodivergent employees, and those with anxiety this is a trigger, which can cause worry and spiralling thought, no matter how unjustified this might be. A simple word change can go a long way here.
