Make comment private and share only with selected people.

Currently, there's a poor user experience when editing comments. If a user accidentally exits the comment editor (presses the ESC key or triggers the back button (e.g. browser back or in-app navigation). The entire editing progress is lost without any warning. This can be especially frustrating during longer or more detailed comment drafts. No auto-save or prompt means lost time and effort, and may lead to communication breakdown or missed context in task discussions. Suggestion: Implement a confirmation alert when a user tries to exit an in-progress comment edit. The alert could say: > “Are you sure you want to leave? Unsaved changes will be lost.” Alternatively or additionally, consider auto-saving drafts of comment edits until the user chooses to post or discard them. When a Clip is recorded and posted to a task, the comments made during the video appear under the "Action Items" section of the task. These comments can be hard to find after a person exits the video. Feature Suggestion: I think it would be really helpful if these comments could also appear in the "Assigned Comments" section on the Home view. That would make it easier to track and follow up on them, especially when they're relevant but not full-fledged tasks. Thanks for your time and support!

This will improve the cleanliness of sharing multiple photos at once on a single, digestible, space. Attached is an example from a different platform.

It would be cool if you had the ability to pin important comments to the top of the comments thread. Asana does it in a nice way.

Emojis are way too small in body text and need to be bigger – comments, docs, messages, and task descriptions. The size of emojis in body text of so small that it’s hard to see what the emoji is sometimes. Please make emojis (in body text) similar in size to what they are in Slack. Much bigger and identifiable, without having to lean into the screen to see what they are.

This comes in handy if you work after office hours, to schedule comments or messages to be sent automatically first thing in the morning.

Hi ClickUp team, I’m a business consultant and have led ClickUp implementations across multiple companies, always with a focus on structured task and process governance. I’m bringing here a serious concern that has surfaced in several of these organizations and is now becoming critical: the lack of control over comment editing inside task threads. Currently, any user can edit their own comments at any time — and worse, there is no visible edit history or audit trail. This opens the door for problematic behaviors, including altering the logic of past discussions, erasing important context, and even manipulating agreements previously made in writing. In practice, we’ve already faced real operational issues due to this. Teams have experienced misunderstandings, broken trust, and in some cases, decisions being questioned due to the inability to prove what was originally said. What’s missing today: 1. A way to restrict or disable comment editing at the Workspace or Space level; 2. A visible edit log or version history for comments; 3. An audit-friendly way to track post-editing changes, ensuring transparency. These gaps seriously affect environments where governance, traceability, and accountability are non-negotiable. For teams operating in regulated sectors or under strict compliance policies, this represents a real risk. If there’s a roadmap update on this, or any recommended workaround or integration to mitigate the issue, it would be extremely valuable. Thanks for your attention — and I hope this gains priority. When disabling the clickApp for threaded comments all the current comments are removed! This means there is no way back anymore and we really want to disable the feature. It should still show the current comments but disable the option to make new!
