When I have ClickUp (Desktop app) on my second screen, the Command center still opens on my main screen. It would be good to open it on the same screen I have ClickUp on.

I am writing to suggest a feature that I believe would significantly enhance the efficiency of using ClickUp, which has already been instrumental in improving our workflow. Feature Request: I would like to request the addition of a functionality that allows users to easily call and reuse image files using the @ symbol. Use Case Example: In our daily operations, there are numerous instances where the same image is used across multiple tasks or Docs. Currently, this requires us to upload the same image repeatedly, which not only adds unnecessary steps to our workflow but also consumes additional storage space. If we could simply use the @ symbol to reference and reuse an existing image file, much like we do with tasks or Docs, it would greatly streamline our processes and enhance overall productivity. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude for the outstanding service that ClickUp provides. We look forward to continuing to use your platform and benefiting from your excellent service. An Option to Disable Command Center empowers us Users in not having an overkill experience. An Option to Restrict Clickup's ability to operate our Operating Systems gives us our control of our machines. I was using the search bar on Desktop app for a task about "SSD" and hit enter to see results quickly, next thing I know, my Macbook is shutting down. Turns out typing "SSD" is enough to reference a "System Shut Down" command. Even typing "s" in search, the "System Shut Down" item appears just on the 2nd place. Ridiculous overkill. Can we as Users get to decide if we want to give Clickup system-wide privileges to operate our machines? We should be able to determine the boundaries we allow Clickup, and decide if we do not want interference with our OS.

Dear Team, I would like to propose an enhancement to the Markdown conversion feature when using shortcut commands. Currently, after pasting Markdown, it requires pressing the paste button to apply it. Considering the advantage of shortcut commands, which is to streamline tasks without leaving the keyboard, I believe it would be more efficient if pressing the Enter key (or Command + Enter) could automatically apply the Markdown to the input field. Implementing this feature would significantly improve workflow efficiency, allowing for a smoother and more uninterrupted user experience. I greatly appreciate the functionality and usability that ClickUp offers, and I look forward to continued improvements. Thank you for your attention to this suggestion. Best regards,

The ability to mention custom fields in task descriptions for example if I am making a postcard for a client I could type Create, Print and Mail a postcard for /custom field (CLIENT) which would then pull the associated tasks client name custom field and put it in the description. This could be put in templates and make automating task descriptions cleaner and easier.

The recent change in Search (July 2024) has changed search icons for the worse, and now they are confusing to use. Previously, Tasks used to show much clearer icons, and it was clearer what status everything was in. You could see a Task and know its status straight away. Now all icons are black, I find it harder to see the status an item is in. The old grey icons were less eye-catching, so your eye saw the status more quickly. Further, Tasks and Subtasks have completely different icons. Tasks have a circle, whereas Subtasks have a square with a tick and a subtask icon. Why not make it a circle with a subtask icon, or just a subtask icon, or make a Task have a square tick box? Basically, Tasks and Subtasks icons don't make sense against each other. I think these icon changes were very much a case of "if it's not broken, don't fix it". It would be really great if they could be put back.

It'd be useful to have the possibility to create a table into task description using a template. And in each cell you should be allowed you to use any type of field

I press ctrl + k like in any other software to create an embedded hyperlink. But most of the time it opens some kind of a quick search menu. And in about of 20% attempts it lets me insert hyperlink. The behavior of that hotkey is totally unclear to me. And there is no way in settings to change that.

Various shortcuts appear when doing a Search in Command Center (like "Copy URL"), but would love to see one for the link for "Send Email to Task". I find myself constantly needing to include this link in my emails, and end up first having to search for the task in Clickup, then opening the task, then clicking on the menu, and finally choosing Send Email to Task. By enabling copying the link directly from Command Center, the process would be greatly simplified. Thanks!

It would be very helpful to enable the user to determine the default Sort By. Currently it is set to "Relevance" but should enable "Last Updated" or "Last Created" to be the default as well.
