Problem Statement Currently, the ClickUp mobile app interface (see screenshot) shows that Docs, Clips, and Forms are listed as separate content types, but users cannot create them directly within the app. The options exist only as placeholders or require switching to the web version. This breaks the workflow: when a user needs to quickly capture a meeting note (Doc), record a screen Clip, or gather feedback via a Form, they have to leave the app or use a different tool. As a result, ideas are lost, and productivity drops. Requested Feature Enable full creation and editing of Docs, Clips, and Forms inside the ClickUp mobile app. Specifically: · Docs – Rich text editing, embeds, and folder organization. · Clips – Record screen/audio/video clips and attach them directly to tasks or spaces. · Forms – Build simple forms (with drag-and-drop fields) and share links; responses automatically become tasks. Benefits Seamless capture – Users can document thoughts, record clips, or launch a form while on the go, without switching to desktop. Higher engagement – Mobile-first teams (e.g., field agents, remote workers) will use ClickUp as a true all-in-one hub, not just a task manager. Faster feedback loops – A form created in-app can be shared immediately; responses sync in real time. Consistent user experience – The same content types exist on web and mobile, but creation parity eliminates frustration. Conclusion Adding native creation for Docs, Clips, and Forms turns the mobile app from a viewer into a creator tool. This aligns with ClickUp’s “one app to replace them all” vision and would be a competitive advantage over other project management apps. Thank you for considering this improvement.

I tried to connect Cursor app to clickup, it asks me to select a default git project but it only lists projects from my linked github account. No project from my gitlab at all, even if I have properly linked my gitlab account to my cursor account. It prevents us from using cursor via clickup and is VERY annoying

Hi, the recent mobile app update has made the usability experience not a pleasant one for my team. We have created multiple folders and created documents to be saved in each folders. Before the update, we were able to view the documents in the folder as a list under the folder on the left pane. After the update, we are not able to see the document under the folders anymore. We can only go the Docs and search for the document. This is really annoying. Is there a way to fix it?

I would like to suggest an enhancement to ClickUp’s resource management capabilities. Currently, the platform primarily focuses on managing team members as resources. It would be incredibly valuable if ClickUp could support the management of other resource types, such as: Construction crews or project teams (e.g., external contractors) Meeting rooms or shared spaces Specialized equipment or machinery This functionality would help organizations like ours, which rely on diverse resources beyond traditional team members, better plan and allocate these assets efficiently within projects. An ideal solution would include: Customizable Resource Types: Allow users to define and manage different types of resources. Availability Scheduling: Enable availability tracking and conflict resolution for these resources. Assignment Integration: Include these resources in task assignments and workload planning. This feature would significantly enhance ClickUp's flexibility for businesses across various industries, from construction and events management to consulting and IT.

We're having a lot of difficulties caused by Threaded Comments. Our clients are complaining about missing comments and feeling overwhelmed by it, and they're right! We really want our clients to use ClickUp for the ease of project management instead of email or bunch of other IM apps, but this makes it really hard to convince them to stay. You might ask why not disable threaded comments then? Well because for some reason it's tied to Chat function, and Chat is an integral part to us! ClickUp gurus, could you please make these 2 functions independent from each other? Thanks.

Hi, Instead of having a few random formula columns, it would be great if ClickUp build a robust project budget/finance management tool from ground up. Something that can help us manage an entire budgeting for the projects that we manage in. LickUp and that can easily integrated with ClickUp project management tool. Ability to search all my Outlook emails to get the latest updates on a project or summarize a long thread. Same as it is currently possible for Gmail.

Add the ability to disable the Reply to Thread ability by space. Right now it is a global off/on setting. There is no way to set this for a specific space. Some parts of our company like this feature, and for others it becomes a hinderance.
