Configurable Meeting Reminder Notifications (10 Minutes Before & At Start Time)
It would be extremely valuable for ClickUp to provide configurable meeting reminder notifications, including both a pop-up notification and optional sound alert before a meeting begins and again at the scheduled start time. Today, many users rely on external tools such as Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, or Microsoft Teams to receive meeting reminders, even when the meeting itself is managed through ClickUp. This creates unnecessary dependency on additional applications and reduces ClickUp's effectiveness as a centralized work platform. Providing native meeting reminders would help users stay on schedule, improve meeting attendance, and reduce missed or late arrivals. Example Reminder Workflow: * 10 Minutes Before Meeting → Pop-up notification + optional sound * At Meeting Start Time → Pop-up notification + optional sound * Optional "Join Meeting" button directly from the notification Benefits: * Reduces missed meetings and late arrivals * Improves attendance and team accountability * Eliminates reliance on external reminder systems * Encourages adoption of ClickUp Calendar and SyncUps * Helps users stay focused without constantly monitoring their calendar * Creates a more seamless scheduling and meeting experience Ideal Functionality: * User-configurable reminder timing (5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, etc.) * Separate controls for visual notifications and sound notifications * Desktop and mobile support * One-click access to join a SyncUp or meeting directly from the reminder * Support for meetings created in ClickUp or synced from external calendars * Workspace defaults with individual user customization Many teams currently depend on integrations between Google Calendar and Slack (or similar tools) to receive reliable meeting reminders. Providing this functionality natively within ClickUp would further support the goal of consolidating work, communication, scheduling, and collaboration into a single platform.

Automatically Update User Status Based on Calendar Availability
It would be extremely valuable for ClickUp to automatically update a user's status based on their connected calendar events. Today, users must manually update their status when they are in meetings, out of office, participating in focus time, or otherwise unavailable. In practice, this often doesn't happen, resulting in inaccurate status information and unnecessary interruptions. By leveraging existing calendar integrations, ClickUp could automatically update user statuses in real time based on event type, availability, and working hours. Examples: * Calendar event marked Busy → Status automatically changes to "In Meeting" * Focus Time block → Status automatically changes to "Focus Time" or "Do Not Disturb" * Out of Office event → Status automatically changes to "Out of Office" * Meeting ends → Status automatically returns to Available or previous status Benefits: * Eliminates the need for manual status updates * Provides more accurate availability information across the organization * Reduces interruptions and unnecessary follow-up messages * Improves collaboration and response-time expectations * Encourages adoption of ClickUp Chat as a primary communication tool * Creates a more seamless connection between Calendar, Chat, and work management Ideally, users could customize which calendar events trigger status changes and whether event titles remain private while still updating availability. As organizations increasingly rely on ClickUp as their central operating platform, automated status management would help create a more connected and intelligent workspace experience.
