I would like to request the ability to assign different holiday calendars to different users, teams, or regions within a single workspace. Currently, only one holiday calendar can be applied workspace-wide, which does not accommodate organizations with teams in multiple countries or regions. Why this is important: Our teams operate in different countries, each with its own set of public holidays. We need workload and utilization reports to accurately reflect each person’s true availability, based on their local holidays. Applying a single holiday calendar to all users leads to inaccurate reporting and scheduling. Suggested Solution: Allow admins to assign a holiday calendar per user, team, or location. Ensure workload and utilization calculations use each person’s assigned holiday calendar to determine available hours. This feature would greatly improve resource planning and reporting accuracy for global teams. Thank you for considering this request!

Calendar view on the All Tasks list is the superior way to look at your tasks for the day, in my experience. But, what would make it even better is being able to create a calendar event, not just a task, with the same click/click-drag function as creating a task on the calendar view. Currently, you can only create the tasks on the calendar view, and create events in the planner. So you have to go back and forth when planning out your day. Would be awesome if you could do planner events from within the calendar view, or vice-versa; simply click/drag like you normally do, and be able to specify if you are making a task or an event. You also have the Create Task button on the top left where you can also create a different type, like a milestone or custom task type from the workspace, and having an event option would be awesome.

Requesting a lock for the calendar view when it comes to click and dragging. Twice I have screwed up/missed appointments due to an accidental click and drag. I did a Chat GPT search to see if that was a thing already and it said it wasn't so my apologizes if this feature already exists. - thanks!

Can we please reduce the size of these event names when syncing ClickUp tasks with Google calendar. They just have a lot of unnecessary info like space and list name in the event title tag making it insanely long in the calendar. With UI simple is always better, so please simplify it or at least allow us to customize it.

It would be extremely valuable for ClickUp to provide configurable meeting reminder notifications, including both a pop-up notification and optional sound alert before a meeting begins and again at the scheduled start time. Today, many users rely on external tools such as Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, or Microsoft Teams to receive meeting reminders, even when the meeting itself is managed through ClickUp. This creates unnecessary dependency on additional applications and reduces ClickUp's effectiveness as a centralized work platform. Providing native meeting reminders would help users stay on schedule, improve meeting attendance, and reduce missed or late arrivals. Example Reminder Workflow: * 10 Minutes Before Meeting → Pop-up notification + optional sound * At Meeting Start Time → Pop-up notification + optional sound * Optional "Join Meeting" button directly from the notification Benefits: * Reduces missed meetings and late arrivals * Improves attendance and team accountability * Eliminates reliance on external reminder systems * Encourages adoption of ClickUp Calendar and SyncUps * Helps users stay focused without constantly monitoring their calendar * Creates a more seamless scheduling and meeting experience Ideal Functionality: * User-configurable reminder timing (5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, etc.) * Separate controls for visual notifications and sound notifications * Desktop and mobile support * One-click access to join a SyncUp or meeting directly from the reminder * Support for meetings created in ClickUp or synced from external calendars * Workspace defaults with individual user customization Many teams currently depend on integrations between Google Calendar and Slack (or similar tools) to receive reliable meeting reminders. Providing this functionality natively within ClickUp would further support the goal of consolidating work, communication, scheduling, and collaboration into a single platform.

It would be extremely valuable for ClickUp to automatically update a user's status based on their connected calendar events. Today, users must manually update their status when they are in meetings, out of office, participating in focus time, or otherwise unavailable. In practice, this often doesn't happen, resulting in inaccurate status information and unnecessary interruptions. By leveraging existing calendar integrations, ClickUp could automatically update user statuses in real time based on event type, availability, and working hours. Examples: * Calendar event marked Busy → Status automatically changes to "In Meeting" * Focus Time block → Status automatically changes to "Focus Time" or "Do Not Disturb" * Out of Office event → Status automatically changes to "Out of Office" * Meeting ends → Status automatically returns to Available or previous status Benefits: * Eliminates the need for manual status updates * Provides more accurate availability information across the organization * Reduces interruptions and unnecessary follow-up messages * Improves collaboration and response-time expectations * Encourages adoption of ClickUp Chat as a primary communication tool * Creates a more seamless connection between Calendar, Chat, and work management Ideally, users could customize which calendar events trigger status changes and whether event titles remain private while still updating availability. As organizations increasingly rely on ClickUp as their central operating platform, automated status management would help create a more connected and intelligent workspace experience.

At the moment it is only possible to integrate a Google calendar in Clickup. For calendar integration there is the standard ical, which is also used by own calendar solutions like Synology. I would like to have the possibility to integrate an ical calendar in a fully usable way.

It is awesome that in Planner view sidebar you can now create sections with custom filters similar to setting up filters in a list view. What would be even more awesome is if you could use a saved filter that was already set up in a list view and just apply it to the planner sidebar section. Would save the work of having to duplicate all the filter settings so I can see the same view of task in both places.

Really like that we can now use custom filtered sections in the planner sidebar, however, while I'm able to filter the tasks, I can't find anyway to sort them. I believe they default to sorting in date created order which is not very helpful.

Please add the setting to change the default option for all added tasks/focus time to show as either Free or Tentative instead of busy; to show all as Public instead of Private. The Do not decline Meeting option is only good for users of Clickup I suppose and doesn't work for integrated Outlook calendar.
