Feature Requests

Please separate view settings for different task Types. I need to be able to show different Fields on a task's card within a Board view depending on which Type the task is designated as. Many tasks within a single Board have vastly differing relevancy of information within each Field and Custom Field based on their Type. I imagine this paradigm also permeates every place in ClickUp where multiple task Types exist within the same view.

Disabling "Show empty fields" needs to hide "Progress (Auto)" and "Progress (Manual)" when progress is 0. Similar issues have been posted multiple times before and closed.

For example now, if i finish a task that was in progress it goes automatically to the bottom of the "Done" group status on our board, instead of at the top. This can be solved with the sort setting but then we cant move tasks up/down manually which is a slight bummer. So this way you can see very quickly what tasks have been closed recently in the board view without having to scroll down to the bottom. Maybe something like "One time sort", where the tasks get sorted by date created for example, and its not a locked filter

To be able to export board view to either a PDF or an editable file type would be really helpful.

Tags are great to classify our tasks. Having the possibility to sort by tags in board view, saves time and will be a fast way to have our board immediately organized.

It would be extremely helpful to have an automatic visual indicator (such as a colored border or background) for tasks that are assigned to me in Board View. Current situation: Currently, we need to manually add tags or custom fields to visually distinguish our own tasks from others. This requires extra effort and isn't automatic. Proposed feature: Automatically highlight tasks assigned to the current user with a distinctive color (e.g., orange border or subtle background color) in Board View, similar to how Redbooth automatically shows an orange border for tasks assigned to you. Benefits: Instantly identify my tasks at a glance without filtering Improve productivity when working on shared boards with multiple team members Reduce cognitive load when scanning through many tasks No manual tagging or setup required Use case: When viewing a board with tasks assigned to multiple team members, I want to quickly spot which tasks are mine without having to read the assignee avatar on each card or apply filters. This would be especially valuable in Board View where we need to see the big picture of the project while still being able to quickly identify our own responsibilities.

When the View type "Me" is selected together with "All spaces" our spaces are from different sectors in our company and this gets annoying to collapse or hide through filter. As you can see in the image. Would be nice to view only the columns (Status) that are NOT empty.

It would be great to have the option to 'group' / show task name as the header of a board lane (column) in a board view. One of the users in our workspace likes to see their tasks as the lanes and each subtask inside the lane. For us, we only have one top level task and the rest are subtasks beneath it, so this would work for our use case. I realize that this is not a typical Kanban configuration, so perhaps it would be best served in a new view type. It is a simplified way to view work and reminds me of Trello boards or Planner boards.

This is a request to re-implement Swimlanes on Board views. It is a duplication of the original request: https://feedback.clickup.com/feature-requests/p/swimlanes-on-board-view Swimlanes have now been removed in favor of a second level of "Group by", which produces poorly implemented fixed height rows on the board. Please reimplement the original swimlane request. It only took 4 years to get this last time so here's hoping.
