Agreed, also please release on Android. Too many Ai companies are going to Apple for the big contract. Many Android users are starting to use this tool

In addition to this - it would be worth updating the main clickup app to allow for a shortcut to Brain.

We need a Brain Max app.

I love brain max. I use to to plan my day, schedule tasks, assign tasks to others. It does everything, but it can only be used when sat at my desk. I need a mobile app so I can use it on the go as well.

As an iPad and iPhone only user, I would love to access the full power of ClickUp BrainMax (AI Max) directly within the mobile app, especially in the chat and task interfaces. Many users rely on iOS devices for productivity and would benefit from having advanced AI features—currently available on desktop/web—fully integrated into the mobile experience. Now with iPad OS 26 there is less reason to have to buy a desktop device.
CkickUp Crew, Thanks for the current AI access available on mobile. Please consider prioritizing the development and release of BrainMax for iOS/iPad, including seamless access through chat and task comments.

Since there is no client for Ubuntu, an Android app would at least be very important!

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your thoughts! We’re heads-down building the Brain MAX mobile app right now. It’s still in progress, but we’re excited to bring it to your phones soon. Really appreciate the support!

HI Ankit Mishra, please make it so that I can use this to replace my default speech to text engine on my Galaxy S24 Ultra phone.
Jason Joseph
Ankit Mishra it has been six months...so any day now, yes?
Ankit Mishra
Jason Joseph: We're working on bringing Brain MAX dekstop app capabilities within the ClickUp mobile app first, which will be shipping very soon. Can't commit a date yet but we're actively working on it.
Jason Joseph
Ankit Mishra ok, please explain the difference then to me if you don't mind. In the mobile app I have Brain. What is the difference?
(And I feel doubly compelled to ask this as only just recently (a wekk ago) I had to point out to the team via email that BrainMax and BrainGPT are confusing. The app touts GPT the website touts BrainMAX and I was told that it was indeed an oversight, and they were going to update the sites verbiage and imaging to reflect the name change.. but now you're herre using the BrainMAX wording again, and my App has "Brain".
This is exhaustingly inconsistent, needs to be addressed with your entire team (Any team members that so much as type the words Brain (and whatever it is you are finally landing on naming it..) need to hear, and to fully absorb this feedback. Because it is not becoming of a company of ClickUps stature. (Sorry for the tough love but it needs to be said.)
Ankit Mishra
Jason Joseph: you're absolutely right about the naming inconsistency, that's on us and it's being addressed across all surfaces (desktop app, website) right now. The official name is Brain MAX.
To your question about what's different: Brain in the ClickUp mobile app today is limited in what it can do compared to the full Brain MAX desktop app experience. We're actively working on bringing the full Brain MAX capabilities into the ClickUp mobile app, things like showing chat history, different models selection, uploading images/attachment, connected app search etc. And that's shipping soon.
Appreciate your patience and the direct feedback, please keep sharing them. 🙏
Jason Joseph
Ankit Mishra this is confounding. On Feb 8th in an email from Rob in Tech support I was told the change was going to be from BrainMAX to BrainGPT, and that my pointing out that my current install of Brain on Mac says BrainGPT. And that he was going to alert the team so that it could be addressed, and the site updated.
I am indeed patient, but please, get everyone on the same page and get your stories straight.
And don't take it to heart even Apple has naming issues...
Ankit Mishra
Jason Joseph: we did briefly change the name to BrainGPT, and have since decided to go back to Brain MAX as the official name going forward. I know that's frustrating to hear given what Rob told you just days ago, and I understand why this feels like we're not on the same page internally.
We are now aligned: the name is Brain MAX. We're updating all surfaces - desktop app and website (and mobile app in the future) - to reflect that consistently. I'm flagging this thread internally so the support team is also up to speed.
Thanks for pushing on this. 🙏
Jason Joseph
Ankit Mishra Well I would strongly advise not naming it Max because, quite frankly, it's very confusing given some models of AI. Max is the most expensive at a couple of hundred bucks a month. I think you're much better off to stick with BrainGPT, or, if you really want something completely different, you name it LISA, which can stand for Linguistically Intelligent Silicone Agents because that's what it is. It's comprised of multiple agents or models.
Just some thoughts, but yeah, the Max is very misleading. Look, all I can tell you is that the taglines from my company that I founded were given props, by Ken Segall, who is the man who wrote Steve Jobs' Think Different campaign and who named the iMac the iMac. When it comes to branding and the intentional wording of things, this is something that I'm deeply attuned to, and I'm promising you, BrainMax is a mistake.

I believe the Brain Max will be such a great tool for already ClickUp users, as new users, if the app is on the mobile. The fact that the sales pitch is to be able to be hands-free and tackle other things while asking Max is an innovation at it finest. it feels like We are approaching the phase of ClickUp front end product with Max. Great times for sure
