My team relies heavily on the time tracking feature to log hours across multiple tasks throughout the day on click-up. As our workflow involves frequently switching between different jobs and tasks, we find it inconvenient to navigate back to the ClickUp browser window or desktop application each time we need to start or stop the timer. This constant context-switching interrupts our productivity and makes accurate time tracking hard. I wanted to reach out with the following request: Please introduce a floating widget or mini-timer window for Windows that stays on top of all other open applications, allowing users to start, stop, and switch time tracking without leaving their current work. I would like to request its inclusion to the ClickUp windows application. Specifically : Always-on-top floating window - A small, resizable widget that remains visible above all other open applications at all times, regardless of which application is currently in use, so the timer is always within reach without needing to switch windows. One-click timer start/stop - A Start and Stop button on the floating window/ windows taskbar that allows users to instantly begin or pause time tracking on the current task with a single click, eliminating the need to open the full ClickUp application. Quick job switching directly from the widget - A simple dropdown or search field within the widget that lets users select and switch between different tasks or projects, automatically stopping the current timer and starting a new one for the selected task. Minimal screen footprint -The widget should be small enough to sit in a corner of the screen without overlapping or interfering with active work, with an option to collapse it further to just a timer display when full controls are not needed. This would be a significant improvement for teams like ours who track time across multiple tasks throughout the day. I look forward to your response.

Description: I link my Planner Events to specific ClickUp Tasks. It would be a massive productivity boost if the time duration defined in the Planner could be automatically (or with one click) synced to the "Track Time" section of the linked task. The Problem: Right now, even though I have a 2-hour block clearly marked in the Planner, I still have to manually type "2h" into the Time Tracker of the task once I’m done. This is redundant manual entry. Requested Feature: A button or setting to "Log this Event duration as Tracked Time" for the assigned task. Seamless integration between the scheduled time in Planner and the actual time tracking logs.

URGENTLY need some solution to flag/alert for if a task goes over it's estimated time i.e if time tracked exceeds time estimated

A way to carry over or deduct hours from the following months total hours if the employee have worked overtime or undertime the previous month.

When working within a task using Harvest time tracking, it would be nice to see the activity of tracked time in Harvest, like the native Clickup Time Tracker. Currently, the tracked time field shows some Harvest tracking but not all. This would be useful for my team who may be working on the same task. Example: #868m225tw - Create Onboarding Email templates has 0:14 tracked to it.

It would be useful to be able to set the a default Billable/Non-Billable setting on a List basis. So you can default everything in a particular List (and even Space and Folder) to Billable or Non-Billable.

guest users/external collaborators can see all tracked time by default, for tasks where they have view access. guests (clients) should not be able to see tracked time on work that is done for them.

It would be very helpful to have an automation that automatically marks time entries as billable based on a tag or custom field on the task. For example, if a task has a "Time" tag, any time logged on that task should automatically be marked as billable. It would also be useful if adding the "Time" tag could retroactively mark all existing time entries on that task as billable. This would prevent freelancers from having to manually decide whether their time is billable and would allow the task itself to control the billing status.

Can we add accepted meetings from Google Calendar directly to the time tracking without adding the times manually?

Please add a setting at the Space or workspace level to force users to include a note when creating a time entry. We want to prevent blank notes from being used for time entries.
