I tried to submit this as a bug report (#2263846) but support is telling me nothing has changed recently and what I'm experiencing is the intended behaviour. Almost a week later, following back and forth emails, they're passing the case on to technical support... I'm hoping they give me a more acceptable answer. In the meantime, I'm posting here. When I change the due date to a later date for a recurring task, it's no longer creating the next instance on the original due date schedule, it's changing the recurrence schedule. So, my "first of the month" task that actually takes me about 4 days to complete, is now creating the next task with the due date of whenever I finish it, not the first of the next month. Until the last few weeks, I could change the date to 'tomorrow' on the original due date and next month's task would be created. This was also beneficial if I needed to change something on the next month's task that I notice while I'm still working through this month's. Each time I complete a recurring task, I'm having to check the next instance of it and manually set the due date. It was working fine before but now it's not. It's a nightmare.
