It would be nice if we could provide or link a specific folder in GDrive to be used as a knowledge base for our Space, Folders, Lists, or Tasks. This would help the AI have a direct link to the information that it needs for said location.

It would be amazing if we could search not just for files in GDrive but see the folder structure help navigate

We would love to be able to do an overall search by tag types, in all spaces at once.

Clickup has a powerfull search. To make it more effective, the results (words) can be highlighted in yellow in docs, wikis or pages. Thanks.

I have the habit of posting important ideas and discussions in chat channels. However, when I use the default search, it seems that these do not show up. Having to apply filters is something most people won't think of when they're searching, so I would like to request that such post types and perhaps even regular messages are included by default in search results.

Currently; if you have subtasks from another list, you cannot search for them in the current list based on their Parent task. Simply adding the option to search in "Parent Task Name" would solve this completely

Title says it all. Here are the scenarios: If I do a search for "MyWebsiteSpot Sprint 2", it will not show my sprint. This is because the sprint folder is actually called " mywebsitespot.com ". So because it's not an exact match, the sprint is not found. It actually goes below all the tasks on a fuzzy match. Realistically, it should be finding my folder using a fuzzy match. It should also be prioritizing my lists and folders over my tasks too. The above is solved by clicking "list" in the filters for search. But if I want to find a different list, and I re-open search, my last settings are automatically cleared. So that means I have to once again type it in, and click the filter for list (I have to do this every single search). The solution should be to preserve search settings, or let me save my preferences. Lastly, I regularly search the way I navigate "Space -> Folder -> List -> Task", it would make sense to me that typing an account name "My Website Spot" should return the space, or a list, before the 15 tasks that have that same name in it. A way to save "Search Priority" would help save time navigating tremendously.

Whenever I use the ClickUp search, I struggle to find something that may have been written with or without accents. For example, when searching for tasks containing the word "mês" (which means "month"), some users might have written it without the accent ("mes"), and those results do not appear in my search. Usually, other applications allow searches to be global, ignoring accents and focusing only on the words themselves. If an exact search is needed, quotation marks ("") can be used. In other words, if I want to search for all tasks containing both accented and non-accented versions of a word, I could simply search for mes. However, if I specifically want to find only the non-accented version, I could search for "mes" to perform an exact match. A possible solution would be to add an option in the search dropdown menu to choose an exact search, which considers accents and is case-sensitive, or to keep a global search, where as long as the word appears, all variations would be shown. This does not affect English, but for Latin languages, it is extremely useful.

Currently, the integration between the search functionality and Google Drive indexes all files, including those in shared folders or drives that users may not have permission to access directly. A feature that allows administrators to select which shared folders and drives are searchable would be necessary. This functionality would work similarly to the OneDrive implementation, ensuring that only approved shared content appears in search results.

Hello, I am a ClickUp user and I greatly appreciate your platform for managing my documents and projects. However, I would like to suggest an improvement that could significantly facilitate navigation within documents. Feature Suggestion: When searching for a keyword in ClickUp, it would be very useful if the system not only indicated the titles of documents and pages where the word appears but also the exact location within the page. This would include the ability to navigate directly to each occurrence of the keyword in the document. Benefits: Improved efficiency in searching for specific information. Reduced time spent manually browsing documents to find all occurrences of a word. Better user experience, especially for long or complex documents. I believe this feature would be a valuable addition for many users who, like me, work with detailed documents and wish to optimize their workflow.
