Feature Requests

Please add the copy & paste shortkeys CTRL+C and CRTL+V as well as a right-click or dropdown option to copy/paste. All of these ClickUp features need it to function: Tasks Subtasks Checklists Rows Columns Cells and tables inside a task (like Excel)

The recently added “toggle” that appears on hover alongside a task that acts to create a Subtask is extremely misleading. Our team has already commented that it makes them think there are subtasks that are not appearing. It doesn’t make sense that a dropdown toggle like this would be used as a UI element to CREATE a new Subtask instead of view existing subtasks. The + already serves this purpose in a way that makes UX sense. The toggle simply adds confusion. It’d be helpful if ClickUp either changed the view toggle to a + instead of a rotating triangle (i.e. Make the “Create” button a “Create” button and NOT a VIEW toggle)and remove the other location, or remove this toggle entirely.

Need Sum Total at bottom of Grouped List view. Right now, we have the sum under each group, but not total of all groups at the bottom.

Table view is great, but subtasks are detached from the main parent tasks. Is there any way sub-tasks can be displayed under the parent tasks, maybe a tap in so they appear less in visual hierarchy?

ClickBot can create tasks, which is great. unfortunately, ClickBot Avatar is just blank so that is really hard to recognise. Please add an avatar to clickbot so we can easily recognise automatically generated tasks. it could be customisable or at least set yourself a ClickUp logo as avatar

We can add docs as embed views in a list but we can't do it for pdf yet. Putting a pdf in the description doesn't work either pdf is saved there but can't be opened. (see screenshots) Most of my important docs are pdfs (communication docs with the clients in particular) and I'd love to be able to "pin" them in list not only in task. In some way, a place to view a pdf within the list level. For example : A list for a project where you have to take care of graphic content could contains the graphic chart,the brief of the project or even your files.

For List view, it would be great to get a 4th option for viewing Subtasks - "Save individual Task collapse/expand status". Right now, we can Collapse All, Expand All, or View as Separate Tasks. But I often find myself opening a view, expanding certain subtasks, navigating away, then coming back and having to expand them again. I don't want to Expand all, as the List can become overwhelming and messy. I don't want to Collapse all, because then some important Subtasks can be easily missed. I don't want to show as separate tasks because that is overwhelming and messy, with no hierarchy. So having the option for the List to save whether I have expanded or collapsed each individual Task would be really useful.

There are several improvements needed to the grouping within views. I've noticed different requests for them, but combining them here since they seem so related. Allow for groupings by custom field labels to be sorted manually/order created, not alphabetically. I use custom fields a lot simply to organize lists (especially dropdowns and labels). Would be nice to have the option to group views by for excample topics. So several views of one topic are in one view folder named "topic A".

In Table View it would be nice to be able to hide the task name column from the view like other columns.
