Feature Requests

I’d love to see a feature in ClickUp that allows users to create a roadmap-style page, similar to ClickUp’s own public roadmap ( https://feedback.clickup.com ). I can see this feature enabling teams to share their projects, statuses and updates with people in a very readable way. AI has helped me sum up the advantages of this: Public Accessibility: A shareable link that allows anyone to view the roadmap (Even if it wasn't public it would still be very helpful) Upvoting: Upvote projects or ideas, providing fast feedback without needing to fill out a form. Project Visibility: A clear, organized view of all projects, categorized by statuses like "Planned," "In Progress," and "Completed." How I will use this: My list of tasks are basically a ticketing system, for people within the company. Each 'Ticket' submitted will benefit the whole of the sales team, so everyone within that team needs to see what is in progress and what is completed, ideally being able to upvote tickets they want done quicker.

For most projects the D-Day is not the last task of a template list. Instead of remapping per start or due date, it would be nice having more granularity about the milestone or deliverable and not the last task of the list.

I would like to select a default List Template for a specific Folder. This way users can create a new list with the +-button and without the need to select manually the right template. Also it avoids errors and users use less clicks this way. You can add this feature in the folder settings. Other option is to add the action "When list is created" and "Create list from template" to automation.

When creating a project or part of a project from a list or folder template, it would be very convenient if ClickUp could keep the relative due dates of the individual tasks, but shift the absolute dates. For example: A project has two tasks, X and Y. The due date of X is end of April and the due date of Y is end of May. Now I can create a template from that project (list or folder) and use it to recreate the same task structure. But my new due dates should be different, because this new project starts later. Maybe task Y should be finished in October, hence X should be finished in September. It would be great if the due dates of all tasks could be shifted by the same amount of time to retain the chronological structure. It would be even more convenient if this shifting could be done by setting the new due date of one of the tasks, and ClickUp automatically remaps the other due dates relative to this one.

When a template list is used to create a new list, the assignees (from the template) don't automatically get notified about being assigned to the new (duplicate) tasks and the due dates. This causes problems when reusing a template multiple times (like for onboarding new hires) because people with responsibilities don't receive notifications and therefore miss their tasks.

When importing a template and using the option to remap dates, I noticed that ClickUp considers Saturday as a business day, even when the workweek is set to Monday through Friday. I would like to suggest the ability to choose which days are considered business days during date remapping in template imports, allowing us to exclude Saturdays and/or Sundays as needed. This would help prevent tasks from being automatically scheduled on non-working days and make the feature more flexible for different team needs.

At the moment, when we save a list as a template with the view permissions set, this is not saving when we use the template and we are manually having to reset every single view protection permission which takes a LOT of time.

Understanding that the remap time has to be the exact same as the last task's time is not clear or intuitive in the remapping process. I had to go back and forth with your support team thinking the remapping was broken when in fact the last task in my List Template had a Due Time that I needed to replicate in the Due Date remapping field. And because I can't see what the last task in the Template is, I have no idea what to set the due time to...so then I have to create a list from the template, then check what the last task is, and then go back to making a list from the template with the exact time information. I came to the Remapping Dates functionality thinking that it would work the same way that moving multiple tasks on the gantt chart would work (that's how I have been scheduling my repeated projects: Duplicate a list and then select all the tasks and drag them all the way to the future dates) I did it this way because I can actually see that I'm moving the dates so that they line up correctly. Can you make the remapping clearer for the user who doesn't know what the date and time of the last task is?

It would be great if we can set permissions when create a new lists and/or folder via a template.

When using the "Remap Dates" feature in ClickUp, the dates for tasks are adjusted as expected, but list-level dates are not included in this process. This creates inconsistencies when managing timelines for entire lists. Why aren't list dates included in the remapping process? It would be helpful to remap all dates, including those at the list level, for better project timeline management. The "Remap Dates" feature should include list-level dates to ensure all project timelines adjust consistently.
