A Unified Command Center for Users with Multiple Workspaces (Calendar, Goals, AI, etc)
Dear Team Clickup, I am quite satisfied with the vision that your team has and am very positive that you will achieve it because of better quality implementations. I am particularly interested in AI's possibilities and how it can have a unified context of my whole life. Thus I am committing my entire action management workflow to Clickup (Personal and Business Workspaces, all on Business Plus plan). But, there is no point in releasing new features if we are unable to access them or have to switch context regularly to access them and make changes. I believe now is the perfect time to address this. As you are implementing major new features, building this unified foundation now will be far more efficient than trying to retrofit it later. It's a core requirement that will serve a broad range of your customers in the long run (just like how you have complications with subfolders). We want a unified experience, and having notepads across workspaces is not enough. Clickup's new Calendar is a tease that cannot be used if I have multiple workspaces. I prefer Clickup's planner because of having everything here. I am a single person with 24 hours a day, no matter how many workspaces I may be in. Thus, it is a given that my command center should be unified. With new features, the friction of context switching is increasing day by day because immersion is increasing, but wholesomeness is not catching up.

Time Estimate Limit with Alerts at Folder/Client Level
I’m reaching out to request a feature that would be incredibly helpful for businesses like ours that manage multiple clients on monthly retainers with set hourly limits. Currently, we can add time estimates and track time at the task level, which is useful — but not enough. What we really need is the ability to set a time estimation cap at the Folder level (which represents a client in our workspace), and then receive a notification when tracked time exceeds that cap. For example, if we commit to a certain number of working hours per month for a client, we want to ensure our team doesn’t accidentally go over those limits. Right now, there’s no native way to set a monthly cap per client folder or track that against cumulative logged time. We often only realize that we’ve exceeded hours after the month ends — which causes billing issues, internal resource strain, and potential financial loss. Here’s what we’d love to see: A way to assign a monthly time estimate at the Folder level Automatic tracking of cumulative time logged on all tasks within that folder A configurable alert when tracked time approaches or exceeds the limit Optional: a dashboard widget that visualizes this progress This kind of functionality would be a game-changer for agencies and service providers managing retainer clients. It would improve visibility, help prevent scope creep, and support more accurate planning and client communication. Please consider this for your upcoming feature roadmap — or let me know if there’s already a workaround or integration that can address this need. Thank you for your time and support!
